Bought this camera recently. Just took me less than 20 mins to set up. Camera features are awesome. Day and night picture qaulity is brillent. I like the light and siren in the camera which is very good to detter unwanted visitors if needed. Now Ezviz has added extra cable in the box which is very useful. Overall very impressed with my purchase and highly recommended.
I've got an indoor ezviz and its really good. I turn it to face outside and its brilliant if you have the 1080 job and use the standard, hi-def or ultra HD option. That just depends on the memory you use. I use the 64gb card and it works great on all settings for days! The night light is the best I've ever seen for a camera for this price, which is brilliant. The night vision will not work if you use it to look through glass or a window as it will white out. I will use my indoor ezviz for sure, bloody great after having it for the last 6 months. I've now got the confidence in this product to buy the outdoor device. Seriously, I've not seen a better device for the price. This is from a very satisfied customer buying from a decent retailer.
If you have installed a few of these, got any tips on lowering the sensitivity of the motion detection, even on setting 1 it alerts me to every drop of rain!
This unit can be used POE on regular router using BeLion poe adapter from Amazon for a couple of bucks. I have been using 2 units for several month on cat5e cables. Thanks for your video.
Nice review. I will not recommend putting the camera head height because it can easily be ripped of the wall. If you do it make sure you have cloud storage. If you vary fast and its ripped of and plugged out you will get the notification but wont be able to access the video without cloud storage.
About 7 ft off the ground, or above head height is the optimal position to ensure it is less likely to be taken, but still be able to record full faces. Totally agree head height is too low. But just above helps, as per police and approved cctv installers now recommend. Thank you for the kind comments.
Great video on setting up and what the camera does. I've bought this camera, not installed yet as I'm struggling with cables etc. Maybe I'm missing a trick but why have a water proof coupling for the Ethernet cable and not the power supply connector? If the waterproof coupling is outside then so is the power supply connector ? 2nd is the power supply isn't long enough.. I need to drill through a cavity wall behind camera mounting spot for power supply but I need the Ethernet to run along outside wall to another point of entry so how can this be done. Help please.. thanks sj.

Hi. I bought their Wifi NVR and cameras security system but can't configure the motion detection. When I turn on "alarm notification" it doesn't appear "motion detection sensitivity" neither "notification sound mode" like it is supposed to do at 15:36. Tried iOS and Android apps. Does anyone know what to do? Thanks
Hi, maybe this is a dumb question but, imagine that you set the camara to store the video in the SD card. And then, something in the middle of the night happens, when you are aware of it (in the morning, for ex), you go to the app, can you watch it back? can you make a photo of the happening? or record it? Great Review! Looks like a sweet little device. I wonder though if it still streams via the internet when you are viewing on the local network? I have a capped internet account, so would think this guy would chew up data if that's the case
Thank you for making this video. Extremely well done. Cheers! I do have some questions about how this camera is using the internet. While I do understand that should you choose the cloud storage option, internet bandwidth is going to be gobbled up. This is a concern because I have a limited amount of data available to me on my home ISP. Without an account for cloud storage does the remote monitoring work? Can I use a PC to monitor? Upon looking at the staggering amount of permissions required by the app on my phone, I'm wondering if I'm putting my security more at risk by installing the app on my phone. So many of the inexpensive IP cameras are just there to grant the supplier data mining capabilities so they can sell to companies looking to spy on or market my life. The app needs to control the flashlight on my phone? My personal favorite is why does it need to access my contacts? So is this camera pointed to focus on the unknowns around my house or is it focused on me instead?

WHY DO YOU SAY "ACTUAL" SO FREQUENTLY!! When you say "at that particular moment in time", is that as opposed to "at that particular moment OUT of time"? In-depth review marred by saying "ACTUAL" every 20th word or so!
I also say actually a lot too
@@HenryReviews :~} ...the difference being that you generally say 'actually", appropriately. ..actually! :~} Keep those reviews coming, preferably without so many "actual" "...point in time" and "basically" interjections...they don't add value to what you're saying. All the best!
Jon Dor thanks for the comments, hopefully I’ll be back soon without so many of the same words, I’ll get a dictionary out first 😁
Review without a footage? Useless.
