It's impossible to find someone in the industry that does more for the sport than Dale junior. This was a great opportunity for Bubba and I look forward to what the future holds.
That Dude will bring spectaculars and fans , put Bubba in the seat again , I would actually watch a infinity race when he comes back , great show Man 🏁🏁🏁 keep us posted if he gets another chance, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Had the opportunity to see Bubba win the Slinger Nationals. He is the modern day Dick Trickle. Badass driver, and one of the guys you just want to spend time with. Thank you JR for putting Bubba in the car.
Great stuff! I've watched Bubba many times at Five Flags Speedway. I hope he gets more opportunities. Kudos to Jr. motorsports and REEM for making it happen.
What an awesome humble dude. Couldn’t agree more with his “pretty boy” reference. Dale your best shows are with the Non PB guys. Keep up the great work
Bubba is one of many. In Jeff Gordons first season in the Busch series, My friend had a good car and engine. We came to a race with little money and 3 sets of tires for a 250 lap race weekend. Jeff won the race and we finished 10th. No sponsors, we celebrated that finish. Just a bunch of guys with a dream. That was the last big race for us.
Could conceivabley be the best interview Junior has ever done. I like that he (Junior) allows guests to speak and does not interrupt them, as so many interviewers do. Bubba is obviously the real deal, grassroots, serious, compassionate about his sport, but old enough now to be sensible and know what is going on. He certainly deserves a shot into the top tiers of NASCAR, but if he doesn't make it, he is still one of the best who ever strapped into a seat.
Awesome show Bubba, I remember that headache you cost us at the track that day with the party fire. Good times. Bubba is what racing is and needs to be at his highest levels. Rheem and Dale Jr, thanks for putting him in the car and I’m pulling for him to be back in the car soon.
I remember being a kid and going to senioa for a latemodel show, here comes bubba in his latemodel, driving from his shop to the track with two spare tires on the decklid, ready to race
Excellent show! It’s great to see a real grass roots racer get an opportunity! Thanks Jr. and to all involved! I really hope Bubba gets another shot. Hopefully he can get that elusive Snowball Derby win this year!
The best reaction from Dale, what a great thing you did Jr. ! I love seeing you give one of us guys that bust our ass to just get to the track. I admit it I cried my eyes out! Fantastic just outstanding! All love, thankyou!
Bubba is a really relatable driver. If he gets a ride I will be cheering for him. Maybe he needs a David Pierson like race schedule to maximize his personal life and focus on races he will excel in.
Bob Senneker and Mike Eddy, ASA legends! I Went to many races in the early 80's as a kid, met Bob and got my picture taken with him at Milwaukee! Great interview JR!
Just watched the first 15 mins of the interview and Bubba nailed it. You want to bring back the "fans", the real fans, you've got to start getting the exposure at the grass roots level. Here in Pensacola, we feel like we connect to NASCAR drivers when we've seen them race at Five Flags Speedway. This tradition goes all the way back to Red Farmer and the Alabama Gang. NASCAR is trying to get fans who will never really understand the science, strategy, and luck behind racing, so they don't really appreciate stock car racing... You can see Dale Jr.'s commitment to, not necessarily NASCAR, but traditional NASCAR, which is what made NASCAR in the first place. What ever happened to make NASCAR try to get "other" fans? Nothing...
Pensacola in the house. I got the wheel man of the 97F to autograph my shirt one year at the Snowball. We might be old, but we lived thru the greatest era in short track racing.
1:26:01 Holy moly. Dale hasn’t peaked yet, and with all the fantastic interviews and efforts he’s done with top personalities in the industry, he pulled off this interview with a guy I’ve never heard of before like he was interviewing the first man on the moon. This was incredibly entertaining while looking like it was effortless.
Listened to the whole episode..this guy would put fans in the stands. Would be super cool to see him get a full time busch ride, hopefully in a JRM car.
Why do I feel like they are already working on something for him? In all honesty, I didn't know anything about him before this interview and now, I am hooked. He's a PR dream and a good driver. Jr. Is a smart business man and Kelley is a genius....they have to be working something behind the scenes. Go Bubba. I'm a fan now.
I would love to see Bubba full time. Nascar needs more guys like him. I truly enjoyed seeing him race on Saturday and I enjoyed his attitude and humility in this podcast. He would be an awesome addition to Nascar.
"I was big time and I've done qualified last". 😂 Best quote ever. Way to go, Bubba. You did a fine job. I always liked the old DJD's from the 60's thru the "80's stuff, but this one is the best. Thank God for the ability to keep up with racing thru streaming. I've even got addicted to the Lucas Dirt Supers again. Cars Tour, I watch all the Snowball Derby's. Asphalt Super Late Model is my favorite. I miss the Slim Jim series the most.
Look at stage racing like you would a short track Saturday night. Heat races, b main, a main. First segment is heat races. Second segment is b main. And the last part is the a main. Then it seems more palatable
We went to the richmond xfinity race. Bubba kicked ass. I hope he gets more opportunities with jr motorsports. If they let him get away someone will snag him.
I enjoyed listening to TJ telling Bubba to stay down on the paint and out of 4 point to the blue good job Bubba hope to see you at Richmond this summer
Bubba I went to your track as a kid!!!!! That's so fricking cool I had no idea until you said Senioa! I was in Newnan but we came down to see the world of outlaws there one year.
Professional racing is a business. If dale junior runs it as a charity he undermines his own assets. I'm thankful that bubba received this opportunity and it seems obvious that there is more to come.
Everything Bubba said is spot on about Nascar. I've said this for the past 15 years. They have alienated their core fans! Getting Bubba in full time ride would be a good start I'm already a fan! They need to go back to the drawing board on the cup cars they are as bad of a show as the COT was.
Love this week’s guest and his hard work ethic. NASCAR needs to have THE CHASE at a local track each year on a revolving basis, so that each year that track can take the 1 million plus dollars that it cost to pave the L.A. Coliseum, and put it into that local track’s infrastructure instead. Can you imagine the positive connection pipeline that this would form between short tracks, race fans, and NASCAR?! NASCAR are you listening?
I live in the Pensacola area and have seen Bubba race at 5 Flags Speedway. Never knew much about him other than he is a great driver. Enjoyed this episode immensely. Great to get a glimpse of the man behind the helmet. Definitely made me an even bigger fan of Bubba.
Paul Connel and Hal Price Mach 1 Motorsports Lawrenceville Ga brought local sponsors in to local talent at that time. Bubba was and still is a promising talent.
Didn't Jr run against Bubba when at the rebirth of North Wilkesboro!! Pretty sure! He seems a perfect fit for JRM! Best of luck with JRM in the Xfinity series!
Bubba Pollard I think is one of the more relatable drivers in recent times. Don’t think it’s a coincidence drivers like Ross Chastain and even Josh Berry has a following.
That’s the kind of guy NASCAR needs. Who knows how good he could be if given a chance. Better than a lot of Prima Dona’s they put in a car these days. Everyman.
Every time pollard races at 5 flags im there cheering for him. Watch back the srx race in pensacola. Bubba schooled them boys but came in 2nd due to a cut tire
With all respect to Jr. There are a lot more factors in peak performance. Bubba hasn't had 20 years of wear and tear of a full time Cup competitor on him, and yes, he's a dad... but he has the hunger more than a typical 37 year old driver.
Someone is gonna see that this is the type of guy the fans want to see. Sponsors need to give guys like this a ride, or NASCAR will continue it's loss of fans.
What an awesome guy Bubba Pollard is! This was an excellent conversation.
A good old boy ! Old school racer. If NASCAR would let JR take over he would bring it back to the glory days.
It's impossible to find someone in the industry that does more for the sport than Dale junior. This was a great opportunity for Bubba and I look forward to what the future holds.
This Bubba is cooler than the other one 😂
I love this guy. I am now a fan
Same
1st Xfinity race I have watched in YEARS!! Bring Bubba back, please.
That Dude will bring spectaculars and fans , put Bubba in the seat again , I would actually watch a infinity race when he comes back , great show Man 🏁🏁🏁 keep us posted if he gets another chance, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We drove from Pennsylvania to richmond sat to see bubba race the 88.
It's amazing and he didnt disappoint
a new fan and i'm only 30 minutes in
isn't it nice to see a guy that is a construction worker in the car and not a sissy, beta male with daddy's money
Had the opportunity to see Bubba win the Slinger Nationals. He is the modern day Dick Trickle. Badass driver, and one of the guys you just want to spend time with. Thank you JR for putting Bubba in the car.
I was at that race. He is one of the best.
I grew up at Senoia Raceway & we raced against his dad! Great to see Bubba get his shot and perform well! Hope to see him in the car again soon!
Great stuff! I've watched Bubba many times at Five Flags Speedway. I hope he gets more opportunities. Kudos to Jr. motorsports and REEM for making it happen.
I'm not 5 minutes into watching this but I love it my favorite episode
What an awesome humble dude. Couldn’t agree more with his “pretty boy” reference. Dale your best shows are with the Non PB guys. Keep up the great work

I sure hope Bubba gets more opportunities
JR you are the best give racer's a shot Bubba proved he can do it hope he get's another shot he deserves it awesome job Bubba
Damn Dale, you are such a wonderful person!

This is the best content I have ever seen great job Dale helping a real guy this hard working down to earth family man I will be a fan for life
Best down to earth interview on the internet right now!
I remember being a kid and going to senioa for a latemodel show, here comes bubba in his latemodel, driving from his shop to the track with two spare tires on the decklid, ready to race
Now that would be a cool thing to see.
I'm glad this guy got a shot... one of my favorite episodes ...
Same
Couldn't have a better driver on here, Thx JR.
It's great to see an individual who has such a positive impact in this world. Keep doing your thing, its a game changer for many people.
Hell yeah Bubba
What a great interview! Need to interview more short track racers
Excellent show! It’s great to see a real grass roots racer get an opportunity! Thanks Jr. and to all involved! I really hope Bubba gets another shot. Hopefully he can get that elusive Snowball Derby win this year!
I really hope he does to. Came up short too many times already.
i love this interview, i raced at Senoia in the 70's on dirt. ❤
I met Bubba at the Snowball Derby a few years ago. He's a really nice guy.
The best reaction from Dale, what a great thing you did Jr. ! I love seeing you give one of us guys that bust our ass to just get to the track. I admit it I cried my eyes out! Fantastic just outstanding! All love, thankyou!
Thanks JR, that is so Cool to get to know Bubba. Always heard of him, and knew of his driving skills, but this let me know the Man! Very Enjoyable!!!
💯
One of the best interviews in this entire series.
Bubba is a really relatable driver. If he gets a ride I will be cheering for him. Maybe he needs a David Pierson like race schedule to maximize his personal life and focus on races he will excel in.
Thank you Dale, and Bubba, great race…
Bob Senneker and Mike Eddy, ASA legends! I Went to many races in the early 80's as a kid, met Bob and got my picture taken with him at Milwaukee! Great interview JR!
Bubba is awesome and JR. Your awesome for everything you do. What a great story and race . He's earned chance !
Good for him! Great podcast. JR keeping nascar floating! Love Senoia too!!
Bubba is a good wheel man and good dude
He drove his ass off! Finished 6th first time out from last place! That's talent
Jr could literally revive NASCAR if they would let him
We live in Brooks. It took us 5 minutes to get to Senoia short track. Bubba has paid his dues
Just watched the first 15 mins of the interview and Bubba nailed it. You want to bring back the "fans", the real fans, you've got to start getting the exposure at the grass roots level. Bubba is awesome man always liked him
I got the Bubba Pollard diecast coming to my collection soon and wish Bubba can run a few more Xfinity races if I he can
Why do I feel like they are already working on something for him? In all honesty, I didn't know anything about him before this interview and now, I am hooked. He's a PR dream and a good driver. Jr. Is a smart business man and Kelley is a genius....they have to be working something behind the scenes. Go Bubba. I'm a fan now.
Jr. Bubba is a cool dude! Hope he has another chance to race for you all! He maybe in the winner's circle next time!
That’s the reality of racing. I enjoyed that show. Making a living in racing is a hard dream. A true honest story. Thanks.
What a great episode. I’ve been a big bubba fan for a while. I saw 1:43 at the start but it just flew by. Great job jr.
I would love to see Bubba full time. Nascar needs more guys like him. I truly enjoyed seeing him race on Saturday and I enjoyed his attitude and humility in this podcast. He would be an awesome addition to Nascar.
Same here!

I love this guy I’m a fan of Bubba
I would like to see JR give him a full time driving job, if all NASCAR drivers were as humble as he is The fans would be back and ratings would be up.
Gotta get rid of the stages too. The races should play out naturally, so what if they run 400 laps green it's racing
Yeah you would never hear a guy from the Cup series sit there and just speak honestly like that saying I like these people I don’t like those people.
Look at stage racing like you would a short track Saturday night. Heat races, b main, a main. First segment is heat races. Second segment is b main. And the last part is the a main. Then it seems more palatable
Absolutely
To be fair he did say he doesn't want to do it full time
Bubba needs a full time ride with Jr
We went to the richmond xfinity race. Bubba kicked ass. I hope he gets more opportunities with jr motorsports. If they let him get away someone will snag him.
All I can say is "Thank you Dale Jr" I never heard of Bubba before but hope to see him have another opportunity and will be watching if it happens.
I enjoyed listening to TJ telling Bubba to stay down on the paint and out of 4 point to the blue good job Bubba hope to see you at Richmond this summer
We raced against Bubba and I remember when he drove for Ronnie and I always said he learned a lot about car set up
Great job Bubba, well deserved!
One thing is for sure, Bubba knows how to pass.
Maybe his dad making his start last was the best thing ever.
23rd to 6th is impressive.
HELLYEAH BUBBA!! GREAT JOB!!
Bubba I went to your track as a kid!!!!! That's so fricking cool I had no idea until you said Senioa! I was in Newnan but we came down to see the world of outlaws there one year.
Such a great interview get him a ride one of my new favorite drivers
Would love to see more Bubba Pollard. Great episode.
JR saying he couldn't afford by himself to put Bubba in the 88 made me laugh! Great episode!
Professional racing is a business. If dale junior runs it as a charity he undermines his own assets. I'm thankful that bubba received this opportunity and it seems obvious that there is more to come.
It's so cool to see someone able to live a normal life during the week and be a superstar on the weekend. Bubba epitomizes local short track racing.
Excellent!
Awesome guy !
Great interview, definitely a fan. Praying he gets JR Motorsports ride and sponsor . I would start watching again.
Everything Bubba said is spot on about Nascar. I've said this for the past 15 years. They have alienated their core fans! Getting Bubba in full time ride would be a good start I'm already a fan!

Man I love this guy. My people. Racing is just fkn awesome
What we gotta do to get Bubba a few more chances in that 88? Drop the merch. Dudes just the Wikipedia definition of Blue Collar. And we need it.
Awesome interview
Bubba Pollard is such a humble guy and I love his story! I have watched him race quite a few super late model races , he deserves a shot! #26
Give him a ride, super humble❤️
I live in the Pensacola area and have seen Bubba race at 5 Flags Speedway. Never knew much about him other than he is a great driver. Enjoyed this episode immensely. Great to get a glimpse of the man behind the helmet. Definitely made me an even bigger fan of Bubba.
No doubt. I'm native Pensacola in the house & feel the same way.
I really thought he was going to take the 2023 Snowball. :(
What a class act
I’m glad he’s finally getting his recognition ! Seems well deserved !!!
Great show today. It's great to see you giving these grassroots guys a chance.
Please bring the Stickered Up Podcast to Dirty Mo media! The official CARS Tour podcast!!
I have watched bubba at five flags for a long time. I would love to see him in more xfinity races.
Man I hope Bubba gets a long term deal.
Find 4 or 5 guys like this and the grandstands would fill back up. Fans just want to identify with the drivers again.
100 percent right
Bubba Pollard I think is one of the more relatable drivers in recent times. Don’t think it’s a coincidence drivers like Ross Chastain and even Josh Berry has a following.
One cool dude without a doubt.
That’s the kind of guy NASCAR needs. Who knows how good he could be if given a chance. Better than a lot of Prima Dona’s they put in a car these days. Everyman.
I really knew nothing of him, but I now am rooting for him.
We need a GOFUNDME set up to get him started!!!! A true racer sponsored by the fans!!!!! It would be historical!!!
Let's do it! Set it up...I'll pony up.
That would be amazing! We the people vs. the fat cats. Can you imagine how mad Mr. H would be when Bubba was kicking his drivers' @$$es?
Great interview bubba pollard seems like a cool guy would love to see him run full time
Every time pollard races at 5 flags im there cheering for him. Watch back the srx race in pensacola. Bubba schooled them boys but came in 2nd due to a cut tire

I'm dead with the BIRD-DOGS 🤣🤣🤣
Someone is gonna see that this is the type of guy the fans want to see. Sponsors need to give guys like this a ride, or NASCAR will continue it's loss of fans.
I would love to see junior run the oxford 250 in maine
Great interview Jr.
I'm from Pensacola and I'm a fan of this guy, looking forward to seeing at the Snowball Derby, keep on getting done... 1:32:23
