@@gregwhite3883 If you wrote up the lease option agreement properly, the owner is contractually obligated to sell it to you for 50k. Doesn't matter if he's pissed..
@@stemtosternms4438 Which is what he did, right? He'd owe 140k and would get the remaining 60k if it sells for the hypothetical 200k.
@@Ratrix Yes, That's the way I understood it. One problem to watch out for is if the owner goes into default. Remember he still owns the property and may or may not have a mortgage or other liens. You might be sinking money into rehab, on top of him collecting your lease pmt and he might not be paying his mortgage. I have purchased property at the courthouse steps at foreclosure sales and the tenants living in a house with a lease/purchase agreement didn't have a clue. They had given a hefty down pmt, paid their monthly on time and fixed the place up (thinking it was theirs and not a rental). Maybe there are ways I'm not aware of the guard against this...Worth checking into. Maybe in the lease the owner agrees to send a copy of the paid bill monthly to prove its current. Don't forget about tax liens as well. These videos are fun and educational to watch, but definitely don't highlight some of the many pitfalls.

I absolutely love how he gets out there and helps people. He literally takes them by the hand and pulls them up! True man of God and using his wealth for good! Giving feels so good to me I’d love to be in his position not due to the money but due the the feeling I’m sure he gets from doing things like this and helping people move UP!
Sam uses his hard-earned knowlege and work ethic - not wealth. Handouts don't help anyone. Teaching does.

That is called the power of Association..
The most moving part of this for me was Glen letting his negative self-talk come out from the shadows into the open, for everybody to see. It's that moment where he's starting to accept that the most intimidating obstacles are not in the pieces of paper in front of him or the contracts or all the stuff to arrange or take care of, but in the thoughts inside his own mind telling him, " you can't do this, you don't deserve this, you aren't good enough, this is way out of your league", etc. It's inspiring seeing someone come face to face with the most persistent obstacle, and to recognize that it is their own mind.
And I love the fact that just a few days later when speaking to the investors, he was so beaming that you could see the smiles on many of the investors' faces. They were right there with him.
He shouldn't have talked to his mum.
I have just started on my property journey, this year I have bought 3 houses using someone else's money... I completely understand this negative talk... its because its outside my comfort zone... I have realised its a steep learning curve.... I'd love to know where he is today.

I was thinking the same! He must have done a fair amount of research before Samuel got there. He does do live musical performances as part of his job and I think the realisation that this was a chance of a lifetime helped him kill the sales speach!

Oh my... Glen, the scene in which you talk about overcoming your own "personal mountain" resonated with me SO deeply. It is so STUPID that we are scared to do deals when we know it is the key to the kingdom, but seeing you so raw and honest just makes me feel like I'm not alone in that feeling and I am so grateful. I have been following Samuel for ages now - I went to his crash course in March 2018 and I still haven't done a deal for THAT reason! What even is that fear? I think it is programmed belief systems... I can understand them and analyse them but doing a deal is a whole other kettle of fish. Samuel, as always, you are a saint. I truly believe you are sent here like a prophet to free us all, but ultimately we can only free ourselves and that is the irony. This is so powerful... I love you both so much! I see some people saying that he ended up failing in the long run, and blaming Samuel for it... But seeing how negative he was when it came to signing the documents, if he failed... He definitely caused that failure all by himself.

It's the strangest thing, how life works. Been digging myself a deeper hole for a while. Started to work on myself daily, only for a week or so. Since then, ideas sparking off, from Which were totally dormant until I started focusing on myself and being a better person, son, brother, uncle, friend. A major one was to become a player into the property scene, with no prior thoughts of this, but strongly believe I will achieve this. then this video pops up out of the blue (or is it not) is it manifesting ?
