I don’t understand the reasoning for having Penix at 19 by Maye at 28, they both haven’t done anything so the only way to judge them is by their college play, which everyone agrees Maye was a top 3 QB while Penix was arguably not even top 5.
How was he NOT top 5. He should’ve won heisman over stat padding Daniels. And in H2H matchups he went 1-0 against Caleb Williams, 2-0 against Quinn Ewers, 3-0 against Bo Nix. His one bad performance suddenly made him a “bust.” He was more clutch than Drake Maye
