I am so pleased you did not throw the new machine across the room! The images in the instructions are very difficult to resolve. I am pleased to have helped. Lucy
thank yo uso much Lucy! I have a new machine and was struggling to figure out how to thread it, you explained this so well! And the close ups really helped. I got it done on my first try. :)
I am so glad this helped. Great news doing it at the first try. It is a fair challenge getting the closeups, and I think it's worth it. Thank you for watching Lucy
Yes, it's pretty difficult just from the pictures in the manual. Always better to see in reality. Do stay tuned, I've done some art work using this machine and there will be some more on various attachments to create interesting items. Thank you for watching. Lucy
Thank you so much Lucy, I was really struggling with number 5 as my old machine didn't have that bit, you've saved me a lot of hair pulling! This is a really good video and you made it sound so simple (which it is now I know what I'm doing).
I am glad you have enjoyed. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to make contact. I have a video using the fringe foot coming out today - much trickier to use than I had imagined. Happy sewing. Lucy
Thank you for that helpful video - I have an Atelier 6 and the fittings are the same - I find it works sometimes ... I think your zoom + explanation will save me a lot of frustration . Thanks again
Thank you so much Lucy! I have been trying to figure out, for ages, what I did wrong. My husband tried as well, then he suggested TH-cam! Thank you so much for the brilliant help. You're a Star!!
Hello, thank you for your feedback. I am so pleased it has been helpful. I was asked about it, and had a go at trying to show how to do it. It’s easy when you know how! Please, share, like and subscribe. I will be putting out some more videos creating more art on this machine very very shortly #Janome
It’s challenging starting out with a new machine. On the one hand the old machine, had become a tried and trusted friend and you know exactly how it will perform, and on the other, there can be so many new improvements on a new machine, it can be quite daunting. Glad you enjoyed it.
Hello, I am so pleased it helped. It’s not as complicated as it looks. Stay tuned for more art and craft and please do share. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Hello, thank you for your question. As yet I have not demonstrated how to get zigzag on the machine - however I think that is a very good suggestion. I will have a go at filming it and I know it will help others too. I found that the booklet was not always clear. I will give it a go!
Hello Tracey, It is really challenging to work out how it threads through, which is why I made the video. You have to be really careful to go through the various holes in the right way. When you bring the lever down, press all the way down, and pull the loop not the end of the thread. Be sure to have the needle inserted correctly and in the right position. This video is for one particular machine, and I wonder if you have a faulty threader. You can always send me a video of what you are doing, and maybe I can take a look.
I thought that was an excellent delivery and camera work. Very clear.
Hello thank you for watching. It was tricky to film and I hope it helped. I’m glad you liked it. Do stay tuned. Thank you again. Lucy
Thank you so much. I was about to throw my new machine across the room! You explained it so well.

Hi Lucy, I have tried many times and the automatic threader is not working.
