If they actually did lower the rates then Bandai Namco would be breaking the law internationally cause games of this genre have a rate that you can’t drop below. Remember when STR Gogeta was released during the first year of Dokkan Bandai had to explain how the rates worked for summoning?
The sync is main contributor for why Global got screwed over on the WWC. They were so focused on having Global catch up with the current content that in the span of one month they gave us the four anniversary LRs, Toppo, Cell Max, and TEQ UI Goku. Didn’t even give us any breathing room to save up for WWC when all these units were must summons at the time of their release. And also it feels like we got less stones cause they decided to swap out rewards for stuff we didn’t even need.
Dokkan needs to work on its replayability. There's nothing to do (or nothing fun to do) if you're caught up with all content. Also dokkan wants to attract all these new players but what are they supposed to do against the challenging content with 1 (maybe) good/recent unit and the rest are F tier/outdated characters. Dokkan needs to do some major restructuring of rewards, content, challenge stages, etc. if they want the game to be alive for even longer
I would have really, really loved for one of the Brolys to function like the Goku/Gohan/Trunks unit for that reason - so weird that INT Broly is good, but really only wants to tip the scale for Uncontrollable Power INT Broly having a 2 turn support for all of these outdated Extreme Units would have been craaaaaazy like what would have been the problem with just tacking Planetary Destruction or something on there 😭
Problem with this celebration is when someone says "there's nothing to do" you kinda have to just say "yep" BECAUSE WE'RE DONE, there's no raid, no chain battle that refreshes multiple times a week, no all stars, ZERO reason to go back to these events, we did the missions, it's done, it's finished, it's OVER. Back in the day when the link level system was fresh sure grinding links was content, now it's just a chore. We got the dragon ball mechanic which was given to ONE character (Non-f2p) and nothing else. How about an equip EZA mechanic? Equipment forging? Domain update? SOMETHING other than giga multiple turn support and a new standby feature locked behind the brand new paid characters. We can only "just play another game" for so long before the servers go down lmao
Last bit is what I feel tbh Spent most of this celebration playing Epic Seven and link-leveling on Dokkan in the background (if I have Dokkan open at all)
JP crowd: complains about a mode that only took five minutes to complete and had refreshed every two hours. Bandai acknowledged the feedback and removed it. JP now: Mad about skill orbs being harder to farm now that the Whis event got revamped and was made even worse. Like wtf did they think was gonna happen?

But just a couple of complaints about chain battle and poof it's gone. Kinda seems to me like they were planning to get rid of it a long time ago either because of it bloating up the servers, or taking too long for the devs to get it ready on a consistent basis.

I am feeling a bit better when i got the new Gohan, as my one new takeaway from this celebration, though my biggest struggle has been a team due to him not being on bond of master and disciple. Though I would say i am very lucky used 600 stones in total on the big new banners (as i took advantage of the catch-up and step up ones to great results), as I didn't have a lot after the barrage of banners. He's fun, though i just listen to the dub ost when using him to mimic how i saw the movies. In all honesty though, the most thinkering and fun I've had for now is on the battlefield, as i had to make a weird ass team consisting of vegeta and trunks and the blue duo as leads, alongside, the new gohan, beast, teq ulthan, int futurehan and 23rd wt goku. It's so refreshing using such a neat team of characters I enjoy in content that lets me use older or less good units here. Also, this gohan is the 3rd time I'm getting a part two carnival in one rotation (first was str future gohan, than the gammas and now him), so despite having only one of the new units, I'd say this celebration has been very kind to me. Not as much as the last one, but the last one I had stones to spend. This time around i enjoy units i missed from prior years and getting cool old LRs that i gotta grind. The trio can wait till the 10th anni. Though i would agree that the fights, at least for now, are or should i say feel worse than last year's wwdc, due to simply how good the 9th anni was. The boss rush is just too fun when trying to run old build up units and pumping them with double gammas steroids
Gohan and the Goku/Gohan/Trunks Trio really make this celebration pop for me Honestly can't believe how good GGT is for the game, I hope we get more units like them that just drench the rotations in support

I literally went back to playing Epic Seven cause of how little there was to do this WWDC, and forgot that they just hand you your pick of some of the best characters in the game Imagine if you opened Dokkan and you got to pick between Broly/Beast/Cell Max just for logging in during the anni 😭 always funny when people call Dokkan generous

Truth is the reason I really started to love Dokkan, even though I joined last year (considered a bad year for the game) so it's all in good fun I think my biggest thing with Dokkan is: it doesn't really have a ton of the grinding/progression that other modern Gacha have, so it needs to actually be dropping meaningful/difficult stages, otherwise our characters are better off just link leveling which feels weird during the 2nd biggest celebration of the year 🤔
