But despite inking a "no limits" strategic partnership, China's rising economic power and sprawling investment in Central Asia has challenged Russian influence in its own backyard. The original goal of Shanghai Co-Operation Organisation (SCO) was to contain Religious Extremists and Separatists in the region, and for last 21 years, its purpose has been achieved that much less incidents took place in the region.
Its not an Economic oganistion, nor a military organisation, but simply a organisation to maintain regional peace.
As long as member states don‘t set fire in other members‘ back yard, and watch out each others‘ back yard from Warmongers from US and EU.
This region will grow and get stronger together.
Its nice to see that there is no power struggle between China and Russia in this region, all members are on the same page.
And for Pakistan, if Putin and Xi willing to speak to Taliban about their terrorist activities in Pakistan, it will be a great help.
