as a Japanese person, I think udon is really underrated compared to ramen. I can eat udon every day, but it's enough for me to eat ramen once a month. And if you go to a local udon shop in the countryside like Shikoku or Kyusyu region, you can get fresh udon for about $3.
I would have soooo much fun looking around stores like these. Japanese food is soooo good!! Since I'm studying Japanese, I took some moments to pause and try to read the packaging, it's good practice.

Convenience stores in Canada/USA are lower than Japan’s low standard. All we got is hot dog, pizza and fries. 😂🥲
