I play this song about 10 times / day. Listening to the band since I was 10y old (thats 31 years) , while skating in my teenager years and now while working as most of us have to do ... Still got my own little room hanging full of posters from concerts , festivals , and bands that mean alot to me. NOFX is one of those bands that gave me joy during good times and pulled me through rough times. I just wanted to type this and give a big thanks.
I can't say I have been to that many festivals over the years, but somehow I have still managed to see NOFX three times, if I didn't know better I would have thought there were several bands called NOFX travelling around. Must have been one of the hardest working bands out there, they were such a mainstay its hard to believe they have called it quits. Glad I caught them when I did, I feel sorry for kids coming through today, the scene is getting more and more sterile by the year, and inversely as expensive.
I got to see them on the farewell stop in Montreal. Sadly it was Saturday so I missed "The Decline" but it was on my 40th birthday, so that made it fuckin epic. It was such an amazing show they sounded amazing, probably best live performance I had seen of them, much better then this performance. NOFX is my favorite band and I have them tattooed on my arm, one of only 3 tattoo's I have ever got.
