- In this Video, I had the Opportunity to Cook with my Grandson! Polish Sausage and Sauerkraut is one of his favorite Dishes. I serve this Dish for most Holidays, alongside a Baked Ham or Roast Turkey or just by itself. The Polish Sausage ends up melting in your Mouth once it Marries with the Sauerkraut, Bacon, Onions, Brown Sugar and Butter. Your Family will LOVE this one!

I’m cooking this tommorow for my family along with a spiral ham. My local butcher was selling sole fresh Easter kielbasa that smelled so good, and I’m confident that this recipe is the way to go.

@@KarensSizzleandSpice Thank you, I just got done par boiling the sausage, and cooking the bacon and onions, i combined everything together in the crock pot, and i put it right in the fridge, then tomorrow after church we are going to bring it to my parents and warm it up! It looks delicious.

just an idea, after draining sauerkraut, save the juice and get really cold, then drink or sip it. really good for digestion! Nancy Moore, Arkansas

How long are you cooking this in the crockpot on high low for how long because it's pork
As soon as it is simmering, I turn it down to low. The longer it cooks, the better the flavor. I usually cook for a few hours total. The onions and the sauerkraut become beautifully caramelized and just melts in your mouth! Thanks for watching.
