When I was a child, my older sister's husband molested me. I became an adult, got married, and had my first child. I refused to allow my daughter anywhere near him and this caused a great rift in the family. The pain I experienced was intense. No one believed me of course. I went to God with it. He helped me to forgive this man. A few years later, he came to me and he apologized. Had I not already forgiven him, I would not have been able to forgive him to his face when he asked for it. I praise God for helping me forgive. Just a couple short years later he died of pancreatic cancer.
