Just for the record Gunner Stockton played my high school four years in a row. I’m 6’0 and I’ve been on the field with him, he’s 5’10. But still a good quarterback.
I think the problem with Georgia is that yes while they beat Texas in the second half... It's another thing a back up coming into a playoff environment.
If any team in the country is ready for a big game it’s the Georgia bulldogs. Don’t forget that they come from the culture that won back to back national championships are are 11-2 this year with wins in the SEC championship and in Austin. They also have 2 losses in hostile environments, so if anything I’d be worried about the teams who haven’t played in a hostile environment at all.
Georgia coming in is the scariest team because of coaching after that, idk. So many teams playing with house money, that I can't call it. I'd put money, and a bit of it, on at least one of the underdogs in round one pulling the upset. Like I said, house money.
@@Zachgotgainz Oregon and Ohio State are much scarier. Oregon has been the best team all year and Ohio State is a huge threat as long as Michigan isn't in the playoff.

@@Zachgotgainz Georgia is inconsistent and as a ND fan I fear Oregon and Ohio State far more. I'm not impressed by Georgia beating Texas or by them losing to Bama. Schedule doesn't matter bud, didn't matter for last year's national champion.
Depends on if that game against my Ducks was a NEW Penn State moving forward, or just a fluke. That was not the same team I watched in six other games this season.
When Notre Dame plays UGA (sorry Indiana) they are going to find out how it feels to play an elite defense. The only time they have faced a good defense this year was in week 1 against A&M. I think Georgia rolls, and Stockton settles in very easily

Not sure why you think you are going out on a limb picking the bulldogs to win it? they are anywhere between +400 to + 500 to win it all, they are in the group of 4 or 5 that are one of the clearer favorites. It was evident all year that they were not going to win it all BECAUSE of Beck.
It could definitely happen. If Sark keeps stubbornly starting Ewers, there is a very good chance Clemson pulls it off. Texas is very beatable. Ask Vanderbilt
Georgia has a lot of talent, but the coaching just isn't there, and it's a tough road. They cannot score with a starter and Stockton probably isn't the same QB he was before the hit. The defense is also gonna face it's toughest tests in the playoff, and I don't have any confidence on an SEC team to handle business defensively rn.
I think it’s the reverse. They have a lot of talent but much of it has not panned out, which is what happens sometimes. If it wasn’t for the highest levels coaching they’d have lost to GT, Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee this year.
@@kolbe8189 Stockton went in after halftime against the #1 defense in CFB and was 12/16 for 71 yards with a QBR of 65.1. Brock Glenn had a week to prepare as the starter against Louisville (#35 defense) and was 8/21 for 55 yards with a QBR of 11.7. Maybe you should sit this one out, chief.

Meh, they as a team have been on the biggest stage repeatedly. These seniors have two nattys. Most of these teams never have.

SEC champ game is bigger than almost any playoff game. The winner of that game historically wins everything more than 50% of the time.

Penn state is paper tiger. QB Drew loves forcing balls into double of triple coverage. Any defense worth a dam should feast on interceptions.
