It didn't surprise me when she said she almost got into an accident, followed by she just got into Guelph. Nobody knows how to drive here, it's really frustrating trying to get anywhere 😂. Especially when there is only two seasons, Winter and Construction. Makes road conditions horrendous

Statistically speaking, the average person gets into 4 car accidents in their life, it's almost an inevitable fact of life. But it's not like your house is guaranteed to burn down 4 times in your life so??

why did shane give weed to his cat the reason is simple because The vans ( her house ) have to stay clean cause it’s a small place and can’t get dirty cause then it’ll smell since it’s so little and can barely walk if left no picked up vs when you live in a brick and motor house you have so much room to keep stuff it’s easily to leave stuff uncleaned

I really enjoyed this video, it doesn’t feel like she’s faking a super productive or active day for TH-cam. She doesn’t portray that unrealistically preppy personality that more TH-camrs do. It feels like a raw and more honest representation of day to day life which, even in a van, can sometimes get repetitive (just as it would be day to day in a non-nomadic lifestyle).

One thing I’ve noticed about these people who live in a van is their good taste in music. Like their videos always have this nice, relaxing, moody music in it.
When you live in houses/apartments you usually lose so much of that sense of community you get when you live in cool abodes like this. Sounds so fun 😍

Me too I’m just wondering why someone who seems so young is all alone.
General Antiseptic first off it’s not as easy as it seems. There’s plenty informational videos on how of the grid type living situations can prove to be more difficult to live in. Second MY opinion is that she looks sad. I spend the vast majority of the day alone and yes I can be nice it gets god damn lonely. Keep in mind I have 3 dogs a cat a bunny and a snake but being alone for long periods of time with no human interaction can be a little depressing. I’m not just speaking nonsense I know what it is like.

Ah, I'm busy doing up an old van in south africa. Im a single mum of 3, we re super excited to live like this. Taking it slow to begin with, parking on someones property while we move over to home schooling and get use to things.

Don’t let people discourage you from doing this with kids . People do it all the time. Maybe not in a van, and more in a bus/skoolie but it’s totally possible. A lot of peoples advice for safety is common sense, trust your gut & always be ready to move.
I know plenty of people on YT do this but with a school bus. Not saying you nee a s hool bus, but it's be a lot more room for you all.

Why don't you have reflectives on your windows. They help with peepers creepers as well as weather control and condesention on the windows. Just a suggestion.
I really haven’t had any issues with creepers, my curtains have worked just fine, and feel slightly less conspicuous than reflectives
@@hannahleeduggan ... and mould. You look like you have black mould growing because of condensation lovey. You could sew black out black then sandwich reflectix then your curtain. People are just offering solutions to what are obvious problems. Odd you don't mind changing in front of camera ... and the cutesy, ditzy manic pixie mannerisms are your youth and insecurity perhaps ? You don't have to "be" anything but yourself.

She seems ensconced in her naive bubble of 'shiny people' observations and self indulgent ruminations. What blows me away is her need to document/video/share the minutae ... and the people who actually watch (follow and validate) this drivel. It is a quintessential example of this industry of You Tube channel content makers and the tacky Gen Z cultural phenomenon of all about 'me' and who/what I am ...

That is the thing about van life: gas is expensive, especially when your vehicle's MPG's are low.
SUVing is more economical in this way if you can handle the smaller space with its reduced inside the vehicle maneuverability & storage.
I would love to travel like this but also have my own house I’m pretty sure I can do both but having a van can be so amazing and being in the wild and the nature it’s just so beautiful.
I’ve always been attracted to more minimalistic lifestyles like this. I’m happy with something that’s small and cozy and that I can truly call mine. This is what I wanna do.

You could buy cheap value sandwich bag at Walmart and find the right size cup or use a bigger bag and cover a bowl. So you can throw it away everyday. Or buy a sera wrap clear and wrap your bowl and cup so no need to wash it. I buy a Korean coated pan that so good that all you do is wipe it off, nothing stock to it, then oil it and put it in a bag.

I have that exact bear. I’ve had it since I was little. It’s the only stuffed animal I’ve really kept from my childhood. I had a bunch of surgeries as a child and I always had him with me in the hospital.

I love you van, especially the mosaic tile. My only complaint is constant change in volume. I turn it loud to hear what you are saying but then the music comes on and it's way too loud.

This is true. Since I rarely like the music in videos I turn it down, then up again when they talk. If music was a lower volume I wouldn't need to do that. The video, not the music, should be the main focus.
Headphones help with that until she figures out how to fix it😁

Hannah do you have electrical in your van for the induction stove? I may do this too but I'd want to be able to make coffee inside etc. Perhaps a generator would start the stove inside what do you think?
I have the camper stove and you could probably use a little plug in stove as long as you have the right Voltage inverter (120) I had problems with this since it drains the battery pretty quick, but I got a water kettle and that worked the best to heat water (and it’s quicker) and I just make pour over coffee

I have a terrific idea for you. It could generate you really good pub and maybe some financial benefits. Head down to Chicago and then slowly drive Route 66 west to Santa Monica, doing videos along the way. Bob Waldmire made a career travelling route 66 in a converted school bus doing artwork. A model traveling in a Ford van at all the quaint spots where businesses survive only because of tourists getting their kicks could work for you as well. My 18-day Route 66 trip is a highlight of my life--lots of hugs.
