She did her own art. I know, I know, I l know. It wasn't as good as her husband's. Hey, how many artists are? Robert had the success he had because he was one of the best ever to pick up a pencil. But she should be known. She should be known as more than just "her husband's wife." More than just "Mrs. Robert Crumb." She was in those two documentaries made about his life. And... she should have been. She was a big part of it. But... I feel like she should have her own movie. A doc made about her. Doesn't that make sense? I wish she was still alive so she could appreciate it. But... still... She should be remembered. And known for more than just being the wife of Robert Crumb.

We hear this so much from feminists: Oh, men are terrible, though the ones in my life were great. Hmm. Anyway, she's crude but very talented. And a great interview!

Great interview. I'm a Taiwanese, not really familiar with some deep Jewish culture. Does anyone have the idea or relative material that can explain why Kominsky thought telling their own story a Jewish tradition? Thanks

www.algemeiner.com/2020/01/28/why-storytelling-is-essential-to-jews-and-judaism/ this is what i found on the subject.

It's a Jewish tradition to give away "too much information" and talk about angst and sadness.

Kind of interesting she commented about how absurd Joan Rivers ended up looking due to excessive cosmetic surgery.

Bright, talented person. You guys at Louisiana should have done a better job scanning her art. Why? Because it wasn't crisp and clear and it was hard to read.

The subject matter does not change. The art does not evolve. The one-trick pony has been flogged enough.

Interesting person, but honestly the quality of her cartooning is about 1/1000 of her husband's.
