Honestly, he's Perfect Cell. Did no one see the obsessive compulsive disorder in him coming? Not to mention he's a machine so it's in his programming. And he is the strongest so he can afford to do it. Am I the only one who saw that coming? I mean, it's Team Four Star. They're known for attacking and making fun of the characters main persona, aspects, and parts in shows. Even DC Abridged does it.
I can never understand why akira toriyama never wants to revive cell anymore. We had frieza revived 3 times in the series (4 if you include GT), and twice in the movies/ova's. While Buu is pretty much around all the time. Cell is literally the ONLY threatening villian from the dbz still around and yet, never gets a revive. Cell is part frieza and part saiyan; meaning every time a new super saiyan or form comes out; cell potential grows. So why isn't he back for dragonball Super?! Is it the hard to draw excuse? Then give him a new, easier to draw form then!
This is one of the best episodes, the quips are too good! You really padded this to make it your own thing, love the integrity. Keep up the great work!
I don't think the original series really needed to go into why Chi-Chi is the way she is. The pushy Asian mother stereotype is just the pushy mother stereotype in Asian countries and people would be expected to get it.

Trunks is technically 19; he killed Frieza at the age of 15, backed out into the future, came back three years later (18 years old) and then spent a full year training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber with Vegeta (19). Same with Gohan; he was stated to be 10, though after he leaves the HTC he's technically 11, as he claims to Goten in the original series when they're training.
I'm pretty sure Trunks says he's 17 years old when he kills Freeza. Like, he tells everyone that in the original. I guess TFS is assuming no time passed for him between when he went back in time for the first and second time.
+MozillaVulpix I can make some sense of this within the abridgiverse: when Trunks first comes in from the future, he's got beer on him, which would indicate he is of age (knowing Bulma, probably not but still). Then he goes back and cheats the time flow by setting the time machine to 3 years in the future, keeping his age that way. Well, according to that, Future Trunks would still be 19, but we're kinda entering fridge logic territory here, so yeah, we'll just accept he's 18.
I think there's a line in the original where it said that the time machine had to build up energy for a few years for him to make a return trip, but it's not like DBZA has to use that.

A nasty little in-joke that no one seems to catch. When Cell lists the cities he drank, one of them is Penguin Village. As in the setting of Toriyama’s pre-Dragonball series Dr. Slump. Yeah. Pretty f-ed up, right? And then the next reference to Slump isn’t until DB Super, when Arale shows up and utterly wrecks the Z Team. With Pure Comedy Physics.
Prediction for Episode 55: Goku and Gohan leave the time chamber. Mr. Popo quickly finds out that Goku vandalized the chamber with his graffiti, and Goku has to go to great lengths to escape Mr. Popo's wrath. He flees to King Kai's planet, he flees to New Namek, he even ends up fleeing to Chi-Chi's bedroom. But there he will find out: Nobody escapes the fuckbox... More seriously: How will Teamfourstar handle Goten's conception? That should be happening soon, and I can't really imagine them skipping it, they didn't skip the conception of Trunks, and they've been somewhat hinting at it for a little while now, also with Chi-Chi's development in this episode, and Goku talking more about Chi-Chi in his GoQ&A's on Masako's channel, GGSY, and in the World's Strongest Abridged And yes, Gohan's getting crazy, spending a year in isolation with abridged Goku would make anyone crazy.

Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans. It was an OVA for a video game, and then they remade it for one of the videogames a few years ago. But they've said they're going to do it, and it definitely takes place before the Cell Games.
