In my opinion regal is the greatest technical wrestler in wwe history. He could legit wrestle and do legit submissions. The whole table and ladders things is cool but I like a good technical match where they use real take downs and real submissions
Man I use to always be in GameStop stores.I have missed out on so much gaming on console and PC for years.Cant afford it too expensive the only thing I can afford Cellphone
There are several of the great ring workers who have said they never really wanted to hold titles. A title run tends to limit who you work with and push long rivalries. Hopefully this is the case for Regal also, who likely has worked with just about every household name you know and bettering them for it.
I never really appreciated Regal when I was a kid, but as an adult, I've watched a ton of his matches on the network and he is legitimately one of the best wrestlers of all time. Not just in ring, but as an all around performer.
I think that was Regal's main flaw, he wasn't appealing to the younger generation. As a kid I didn't like watching him too much, but now as an adult I love going back and watching him. Honestly would love to see a prime William Regal against Pete Dunne or Kyle O'Reilly
A few things I liked about regal was 1. His annoying but great commissioner role with his assistant tajiri (especially when they became tag champs) 2. His underrated king of the ring gimmick (which he would of became world champion if it wasn't for his drug problems at the time) 3. His amazing work on and off screen in nxt wether its being the GM on screen or being Triple H's main guy backstage. I've always loved his work in and out of the ring especially when he shout "WARGAMES"
Tajiri and regal are actually great Friends, Regal was just kidding when he said he hated him. He didnt like it at the start because, according to regal himself, Tajiri pretended to not speak a word of English for a long time when they were on the road together just to piss him off
That’s great to know because they both come off as having so much chemistry together and as likable guys. I wouldn’t understand how they didn’t get along.
I loved this documentary, Mr. Regal will forever be the greatest GM of all time in NXT, he only appears when it's important and never takes spotlight away from anyone.
One of the greatest British wrestlers out there,he gave so much to world of wrestling and never got the accolades he deserved but he was always the first man to push new talent and make them look good,I feel if anyone deserves the HOF spot it's definitely this man!Great technician and great Promo skills 👏,and honestly feel that many of today's wrestlers wouldn't be up there if it hadn't been for this man.
Definitely one of the most underrated wrestlers of the past 20 or so years I've always enjoyed Regal's work and I'm glad that he's still around to past his knowledge on to the next generation.
I have the utmost respect for Mr.Regal. He once tweeted that he was going to somewhere probably back to his home town and I replied gonna go to a pub and get a pint then he replied to me saving he was a few years sober already. A definite highlight in my life
I'm new to wrestling in general and only learned of Regal from the Blackpool Combat Club and his stints st the commentary table. Everytime he's on screen I crack up. He really is so funny and charming. I could listen to him make up British sounding words all day

The big titles may of alluded him but he's cemented himself into the history books. Bravo Regal...thanks for all your contributions to the business !! Legit worker, legitimate entertainer and the greatest to never win a World Championship 👍
This channel is really good. You got a new subscriber here. Regal should've had a big push at one point in his career, he was a good wrestler, good on the mic, and could create heat when he was a heel.

One of my favorites growing up, with his Lord Steven Regal gimmick. Always great on the mic, and would quickly and legit take apart anyone that crossed his path.

Finlay and Regal was fucking brutal but in a whole different way than what was going on in hardcore/ECW style at that time. As in blows were connecting with real force instead of using gimmicks like barbed wire to cause real pain to each other. Great feud.
Didn't see his earlier career but glad to know he wrestled so many greats. Best sports entertainer this country has produced so far, I would say wrestler but there's Dynamite and Davey Boy to throw into that argument. He's done fantastic with NXT and deserves all the success he gets. Still waiting for the first English WWE champion.

He was probably the most underrated wrestler of his generation, but most of all, he's one of best heels and promos ever
God was he a great heel
I always liked heels more, tougher act to pull off. Regal never disappointed.
Being British 🇬🇧 helps with the whole heel persona ;)
I agree
He was pushed way beyond imagination. And speaking frankly William regal want just not a great wrestler.

I met William Regal in 2006 when WWE came to Ireland, he was in Gamestop and signed my copy of Smackdown vs Raw, he was such a gentleman

He's one of them though ain't he, he didn't need the run to be recognised. You just knew he was the man.
He's in the same camp as Piper, Finlay, and Jake the Snake: they didn't need a belt to get over.
