Sweet jet, another go round might’ve got you a better landing in that shallow crosswind, I’ve been through that a few times , nice job on the pilot figures, landing light and overall flight performance
Good job Che! I will have to tease you for not using flight modes because John and I preach that, especially with jets. I am looking forward to the next video 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Incredible wiring job and structural add ons. Nice job. Might want to go back to the old camera. 🤔 Tracking job is spot on but focus issues is on the camera. Regardless awesome Maiden. Looking forward to next flight
NIce maiden - Please would you let me know what Pilots you have in yours as I want to purchase some for Mine but do not know what to get - any information would be appreciated - thanks..
@@hamiltonshangar I understand that but where did you get the rear pilot from as this F14 only comes with a pilot in the front... I would like to add one into the back seat.....as you have - thanks
@@FlankerTanker I had one from the raptor build that I don’t need and I had another from an old T-7A. I would buy two of the motion ones from the raptor as they are the perfect size for it and the helmets are better to paint!
First of all congratulations it's down in one piece😊 A mode on the flaps with help to trim each flap step. 3rd, 😅 Ashley you did a horrible job with that new camera we need to talk😅 The secret is to not try to zoom in and out during try to find one zoom setting and keep it there. Slightly zoom in is best. Only zoom in out for landing.😊😊😊😊
lol yes I know! 🤦🏼♀️😫😆 I’m not pleased with myself on that video at all… definitely appreciate the pointers! That’ll make the world of difference, I’ll definitely try that next video! Thank you!
@@ashleyhamilton7902 I dont agree with not zooming, I zoom constantly when I film GB's, the key is to keep the subject in the middle of the screen where the camera is trying to focus, not sure if you can adjust the focus styles on that camera, I am not familar with it. Also, maybe get a glare shield, if your using the pop out side screen, that can be helpful if there is a lot of reflections. Youll get it!
Try manual focusing in at something at 100ft or beyond fully zoomed in and lock the focus. A good zoom lens under bright scene should stay in focus and not require reset beyond 30 feet to infinity. Pre-locking the autofocus will stop the autofocus hunting. If the camera won't zoom with the autofocus locked when filming distant objects under a bright sunny conditions it's trash... If you don't want to reset and lock the autofocus when doing the pretakeoff and post landing segments, you could uses your phone for those parts and edit them together before posting. I hope this helps and keep the content coming!
Its balooning with the flaps deployed because you are going too fast with the flaps deployed. If it baloons it means its working. You want to learn throttle control with the flaps down.
@hamiltonshangar I just watched the second flight video. Sorry to see her go down things were going so good. Hopefully motion will help you out. Bummer BRO. Excellent video and awesome of you to share the bad with the good 👍🏻 😀
Che great maiden, and Ashley on the video, zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA
Great maiden Che, I am sure you will get all your flight modes and mixes sorted for every part of the flight. Great job bring her down 👍🏻
Very nice. Any landing that doesn't require repairs is a good landing.
Thanks man!
Man, good call on the down elevator to flap mix... You never know how new planes will respond to flaps until you drop em ha! Cheers! 👌😁
Sweet bro ! Love that jet !

Nice flight sir!! Something definitely happened on that next video where it crashed
Looks good, definitely do flight modes with trims tied to each mode, alleviates the guessing and its perfect the first time.
