Greetings. It is very good! My dealer didn't explain didley. I was excited and drove off. Have been frustrated. In first few minutes it helped me. Good job.
Well done. I recently got my allocation delivered for a 992.2 that is a similar set up. I learned a lot more from this video versus my local dealer. If your post-sales client support is representative of this pre- sales demonstration of goodwill, I wish you the most success. If I lived in Austin, I think you would have earned my business.
Great video, only thing I would say is to not leave the air circulation on all the time. It leads to no fresh air entering the car. As well, if you windows are foggy and you are trying to defrost, it will struggle with re-circ on. Awesome video, thanks again.
Thank you for the walk through. I'm sure I'll refer to it from time to time for the first several weeks. I pick up my 911 4 GTS Cabriolet tomorrow morning.
Alex- I just watched the entire video. Fantastic job and extremely detailed. I now know all the functions and settings and just waiting on final delivery of 2023 Arctic Grey C4S!
thank you very much for watching. Sorry it was so long. When I got done, I looked down at the clock and saw it was about an hour. 😂 I never thought anyone would watch the whole thing.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@Lamborghini_Alex Super stoked. Car is finished and just sitting in Port of Emdem for boarding onto a ship. Guessing a mid-August delivery arrival. Thanks again for the classy video's. Will have to change my account picture and get rid of the McLaren once the C4S arrives :)
Nice job and most helpful. My new 911 is inbound on interstate transport now I will have some clue what all the buttons are for and feature sets. Again, well done- Thank you
You can also open the frunk with a hand swipe left to right beneath the Porsche crest on the front bumper. But you have to physically be touching the bumper when you do the swipe
Yes we did. Was that yours? We actually have two of them right now. The one with 49,000 miles just sold the other one with less miles is still available.
Hello Alex, question about the front axle lift: if you lower the FAL and save it will it lower the car in selected location or can you only save where you want the car lifted?
Great job! It’s quite overwhelming when first facing this car. Everything is online with no paper manual. I am 51 and even the last car a purchased 7 years ago go which was a merc A43 AMG had one. The dealership were great but I couldn’t understand why I was getting one set of keys and I got a spare key but two trackers I.e two identical pieces I think are trackers, which still don’t understand. Please can you let me know what I am supposed to do with these trackers. Sorry if it’s a dumb question but I’m somescited to own my brand new 911s which I waited 18 months for.i want to look after it and keep it for years to come! Please can you help me out Thanks so much!
Just picked up a 2023 Turbo S Cab and this video was really helpful. Reading the manual required much patience since the majority of the content was legal. I would have liked a tutorial on how to fully use the navigation, especially the process of saving a destination, a location or just an entry into the system to favorites and where to then find favorites. Further, the tips on the finer points of the SurroundView were great. Finally, my ACC works a little differently in terms of the movements of the stalk to effect all the adjustments you would want to have available. I found Hey Porsche to be so so so far and will activate Siri and also try to program the garage door opener, which in my past Porsches was a circus. Lots to do to get this beast configured...it is much more sophisticated than my traded in 2018 GTS Cab...maybe a bit over the top in some areas but irresistible none the less.
Yes he explained the Acc controls wrong. Audis are set speed with stalk up and down. For some reason Porsches are set speed with stalk forward and back!
Fantastic video 😊 for understanding what's going on inside these super cars. I would love to sit down with you and listen to you stories on the stupidest things new owners have done. I am willing to bet, they simply have not taken the time to understand the technology, how to control it and the capability of a car like this..
Thanks for the kind words Bill. I am always available to chat about some of these great stories throughout the years. I could probably put a book together of some really funny memories. 😉 swing by if your in Austin Texas!
This is a great video, a lot of details. Thank you! Do you know if there is way to update the 992 2020 PCM to the newest one? For example, the SmartLift System is not available in the 2020 model, you can do only manually. Thank you.
Thank you very much for watching. There actually is not any way to update the entire software a different head unit completely. The touchscreen is the same size but all of the hardware is different behind the screen.
Any idea on how to configure language on the instrument cluster of a 992 to be the same as on the center screen. Car has latest version of PCM 6.0. Instrument cluster is in Spanish and center screen is in English.
It’s amazing that there’s virtually no 911 inventory. As a 40 year long loyal Porsche customer that’s bought 5 new Porsches - 3 from this dealer - are not able to buy a new 911 without going through a speculator and paying a huge markup. It’s as if they’ve gone to the Rolex watch business model. I’m so dissatisfied and disappointed my next 911 will likely be a 2024 MB AMG GT coupe. I guess Porsche only cares about making EVs even though many dealers have 50 Taycans sitting and rotting on the lots. Sad.
My first was a 1985 911 SC coupe for my wife in 1987, I stayed away from the brand until now for all the reasons you mention. It still was a painful purchase experience to get my 2025 allocation, but reaching our golden years it was a now or never proposition. The brand relationship has been bitter sweet having been a kid going to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart with my German mother many times and driving on the Autobahn at the earliest driving age seeing 911s truly being appreciated. Most of my wallet share has gone to other German brands

Thanks for watching. Hope the chapters help out
Excellent. Didn't realize the 992 was a computer with a car attached.
I'm thinking SpaceX on tires with my '23 Turbo S Cab

Very helpful video. I had a 2020 C2S and thought I knew all the settings for my new 2023 GTS but I learned quite a few things (especially on PCM 6).
Thanks for watching
Amazing work
Thank you Alex for this top job!

That is correct.
Excellent guide for my new 911. Many thanks
Good job Alex.
Thanks Scott
Excellent review!!! Bought mine from Lexus dealer and they didn’t have someone to show/explain the features. This definitely helps. Thank you!!

Did you get that black 2014 Turbo S?
Yes we did. Was that yours? We actually have two of them right now. The one with 49,000 miles just sold the other one with less miles is still available.
Thanks Alex. Watched your video 3 times..learned something new each time.💚
Thanks for watching. I hope your doing well
Thanks for making this video

Can you disable the comfort seat sliding operation when you have kids in the back seats?
GOALS 🙏
Can you use a thumb drive as a music source? Do the 992s’ have an SD card reader?
Thanks for this...when I win lotto I will be able to drive my 911 straight out of the dealership....😂😂😅

Hey siri….. never mind. 😂😂😂😂😂
How to get a full screen with Apple car play? Not able to get it full on screen always some chrono sport information on the right side of screen!
What year is your 911? Certain ones of 2022 in the first part of the year were the previous UI. Do you have the colored icons on the home screen?
It’s a MY2021. While watching the video once more I need to test one trick you made. Tomorrow I ‘ll try that.
Sounds good. I never had any luck getting the expanded Apple Carplay screen on MY21 . Let me know how it goes. Also congrats on your 911
It’s a C2S MANUAL 7 speed! What an amazing joy this connected stick.
