please sir, it's only the lows with parameters we can use in catia? if for example i want to see this curves y= x*3-sqrt(x) on (xy) plan, how can i do? tell me please! thank you
@@ghaf4414 Not explicitly when defining the laws, since CATIA only uses the range [0 1] for t, but if you want let's say t to be between [a b], you need to use a linear transformation t=a+(b-a)*t and use the new version of t in the x, y, or z laws, e.g., y=sin(2+3*t) will draw the sin() function but in a range of [2 5] for t.
its possible write higher power of numbers? for example x^2 you write x*x, but if I need x^10... or (some long calculation)^10
hi.. can you explain the point editing formula
Great, thank you.
Hello sir. Where did you define the range of parameter 't' ? I watched the video but I didn't understand.
Hello, I dont have " Curve from Equation" option. Can you please help o solve this issue.
Thanks.
i dont have the curve from equation function. how do I do this?
if i want to fix wave to radius. can you help me for this condition?
I challenge you to create points that intersect the 2D sine wave with a plane or line, I tried it, does not seem to work

Just use x=t and y=t^3-sqrt(t) with parameter t and it would plot what you want.
@@mehran1384 thank you, i will try to do it.
@@mehran1384 please , is there a way for example to define the interval on which I want to draw the curve in catia ??

Excuse me sir, why didn't I have the "Curve from equations" button under Spline on Generative Shape Design?
