One day, a young man named Ultraman Regulos washed up on the shore of D60, having lost all memories except for his name. Recognizing his talent, Master Alude took Regulos under his wing and began to teach him the legendary Cosmo Beast Style, said to be the strongest martial art in the universe… This is the story of his fierce battles.

@@kurotetsuoni1315 Or not. I'm very intrigued because Alien Magma attacked that planet because the influence of Diavolos. And,... he is from the future? If so... What happened with the correct time-line? If that Alien Magma didn't attack that planet in the present, just in that "alternative past" (is alternative right? Or am I wrong?), so... maybe she's alive (the isotope is dead, not the original), or even an Old Regulos.
Although also a probable girlfriend since although it didn't seem like it because of the suit, apparently she liked Regulos.
@@PeuRo Okay instead of a parallel isotope, Spica could be resurrected the same way how Gina Spectre was brought back in the Destined Crossroad by Reibatos but instead of the use of dark magic or dark matter whatsoever, they'd use some sort of old energy. A primordial energy like no other.
And also, I don't think Regulos is a parallel isotope at all. He was taken alive but the Absolutians after the every member of the Cosmic Beast Style have died in the past whic caused many other Ultras like Leo and Astra to believe he had died. And also I think the Absolutians have been monitoring the Ultras since the very beginning, manipulating some alien races like the Alien Magma attacking the home planet of Ultraman Leo and Astra and the Cosmo Beast Style's home planet.

Yes Ultraman Regulos final
Unlike other miniseries's, Ultraman Regulos didn't suffer from having few episodes, its simple yet intriguing story was almost perfectly-fit for just six eps. The potential here wasn't wasted, but missed, and by that I mean that if Regulos had more eps, the story wouldn't have developed much more, but the series overall (especially the characters) would have been even MORE awesome! I'd even say it had the potential of being one of the best Ultra series of all time!

How interesting. So Dias wasn't Diavolo's younger version, but his disguise!
It isn't really surprising that Dias was just disguise for Diavolo since there were hints that showed he was really Diavolo. It didn't help there was a leak that revealed this as well.
Even before the series began it was said that Diavolo was Regulos' fellow student of Master Alude and it didn't help that a being named Dias, that looks similar to Diavolo, shows up to train with Regulos instead of Diavolo himself.
The disguise makes sense after Master Alude recognized (in some unseen event in the past) what species that Diavolo was from.
We all knew it was gonna be diavolo anyways

I expected to see Dias (Diavolo) & Master Alude have an intense fight before Diavolo took Master Alude's Cosmo Buffalo, but that won't happen...
It was stated in a previous episode that Master Alude was injured to the point where he could fight, but couldn't channel the cosmo buffalo's power as much as he used to anymore. Therefore, I guess he couldn't fight against someone like Volcan anymore but Diavolo would've been cakewalk for him, the master did pierce through Diavolo's chest after all.
Well, if not for the fact that Absolutians have extra lives like cats or video game characters.

He means that Regulos is the third L77 survivor. Think about it. Regulos’ attacks have the same rise noise as Leo, in the first episode Leo seems to know something about Regulos’ past although he doesn’t tell him, and all three of them have “noses” which M78 Ultras don’t. I wish they eventually explain how the L77 race became Ultras, although it now seems they are the same species since Tartarus uses Regulos to research M78 Ultras, so there seems to be no difference.

Tsuburaya release the prequel after the event of The Destined Crossroad is really a smart move. This makes us fans want to rewatch Diavolo vs Regulos in Destined Crossroad.

Ultraman Regulos is so amazing, I am excited for more of him.
They made him a grand master only to defeated easily by Tartarus right after his big powerup, they made him like useless against them because Absolutians are stronger? Or he didn't care about giving in his emotions which made him weaker?
I am so glad I heard Tartarus voice again, I really missed him.
So Regulos is not dead, all this time I thought he was dead in a fierce battle, they just pulled him from another timeline. Mystery solved inside my mind.
So why did it took so long for Regulos to escape that too until someone came to rescue him? Or they weakening his powers in that place he was tied up.
So he is one of the greatest victim among many others like Thor and Wanda, who lost all their loved ones and being alone.
Regulos is so amazing, great show. 🔥🔥🔥 10/10.
I think it's less Regulos is useless against Absolutians (which was shown wasn't the case in the crossroads). I'm guessing it's more like him getting cheap shot by Tartarus that took a lot out of him and as far as we are shown so far. Tartarus Damage output is stupidly high at least in these series suggests.
As for why he can't escape i'm guessing Tartarus attack took a lot out of him and i think while in the Naraku they keep him drained or weakened as when he was first shown when Julius was there his colour timer was on red which usually mean the Ultra is in a weakened state when the 3 minute rule isn't applied.
So i'm guessing it's a mixture of him being weakened and being shackled and weakened he is too weak to break out by himself until Julian healed him enough he has enough strength to free himself.
@johnmarkkim: to answer your question why it took so long for Regulos to escape in his case not that long remember The Kingdom time flow slower so for Regulos is probably weeks or months

Regulos himself is a parallel isotope of the original Regulos. So now the question is, what happened to the original Regulos and the Cosmo beast planet without Diavolo ? Hmm

Probably it's similar to Belial and Tregear. Although Tartarus intervened they still couldn't escape their fate. So probably the Magma Seijin would have arrived too, just later, and would have killed everyone.
regulos isn't an isotope. he is only brought to the future in a way that is similar to one. he is the original taken from the main timeline, that's why he was missing all along. they basically just brought him to the future, so he skipped decades of existence in the main timeline and didn't get to age like everyone else.
belial and tregear are isotopes because they lived out their story in the main timeline, and then a past version of themselves, essentially from an alternate universe, were brought to the main universe to live out a different life. universe and timeline are interchangeable concepts in their case. the universes those two were pulled from are now missing them, and have their history changed. technically, tartarus could have brought isotopes to earlier points in the main timeline and had the isotopes meed the originals of the main timeline, because they are not the same person.
that is not what happened with regulos. he was brought from the same universe, just to a future date. he has probably not been locked up for as long as it seemed to us at first. he could literally have been there just shortly before yulian was thrown in there with him. hypothetically speaking, yulian herself may have been taken slightly into the future and skipped some time as well, but we just don't know how much time passed between scenes and how tartarus used his portals. it doesn't make her an isotope either.
@@deadlypedestrianYours actually make sense. Might explained in-universe why Regulos never appeared in the Ultraman Leo show, and why Regulos just found out that both Leo and Astra were alive, although he couldn't recognise Astra at first.

It is a great series but now I want to know how master alude knows about absolutian did he met one before like the Lord absolutian (which tartarus mention in ultra galaxy fight: the destined crosroad) or the female one like from the official poster so it didn't make him surprised to see diavolo who is an absolutian

Exactly what planet did Regulos came from that Volcan knew about? All we know is that he's an ultra from the Draco Constellation. Guess it will be a while before Regulos finds his true origins unless that constellation has already fallen like the Leo Constellation has.
While it would have been neat where Dias became Diavolos by exchanging his soul to them for power but it turns out it was merely a disguise for him to get his hands on Cosmo Buffalo. I guess that's fine although it feels kind of lame that it wasn't Dias selling his soul to the Absolutians.
From here, it leads back to Destined Crossroads with Regulos reuniting with Leo and Astra along with his fellow Ultras. Right now Regulos has in his possession the Cosmo Rat, Crane, and Serpent. The question is how will he continue the legacy of the Cosmo Beast Style? He has help from Leo and Astra at least and there are many Ultras that can learn from him. Now I do want a series where we have a young Ultra who is trained by Regulos who prioritizes martial arts styles with form changes. A showa style Ultra with a mix of heisei transformations and new generation gimmicks. That young Ultra will be assigned to protect Earth like a rite of passage for nearly all the Ultras we know have had and learning to utilize the training he had with Regulos.

Tsuburaya in this 2023 will be the 30th Anniversary of the epic Crossover that they did with Toei in 1993 called: Ultraman vs Kamen Rider
My question is, do you have any plans to celebrate that Crossover for this 2023 with a special or a movie or something like that? I know that reaching an agreement with Toei is somewhat complicated, but if they managed to do that special, I know that they can do it again.
As a fan of Ultraman and Tokusatsu in general, I would love to see the Giant of Light and the Masked Rider see be together once more to defeat evil and darkness.
