If you're having to take a standardized test more than 3 times to try to get into a school, you may consider just aiming a bit lower as, even if you get into your reach school, you may find that you're not going to be the most happy there since grading at top colleges can be quite competitive.
Hello, I’m planning on submitting my transfer application next year, and in hs my gpa was like a 2.9 a lot of Cs. And now it’s a 4.0 in college, I’m picking my professors bet carefully and I’m gonna get 2 letters of rec one from my Harvard professor and the other from Columbia. I’m planning on applying to Harvard, Columbia and nyu, do you think there is hope for any?
Harvard-- not unless you are on the cover of Time Magazine. NYU maybe if your college is straight A's and more than 30+ credits in college. Columbia is maybe if you have 30+ college credits and don't send your HS transcript. Best bet is to find colleges that don't require hs transcript. Harvard I'm pretty sure does.
Thanks Brooke with your help got into Harvard 2028 ❤
YAY CONGRATULATIONS

Do you mean a lot of Cs when you say it would be over for that candidate or would just one or two make it impossible?
most likely a ton of C’s, there are definitely people with a few C’s (one or two) who have gotten in before
1 or 2 Cs like fine.. seen students getting in but again need to explain....
My son would be the persistence model.
