5 is subgroup size. 25 is number of subgroups. D2 taken is based on subgroup size. (i.e. number of reading in one subgroup = 5). Hope your doubt is cleared now. Happy Learning ahead.

Value of xbar and r chart will be in terms of cp and cpk. Relation of cpk vs sixsigma value is as mentioned below Cpk =2 = 6sigma Cpk=1.67 = 5sigma Cpk=1.33 = 4 sigma Cpk=1 = 3 sigma. Hope this helps. Happy Learning ahead.

You dont have to calculate. It is a constant and is taken directly from Table given in SPC Manaul by AIAG. Hope it is clear now. Happy Learning ahead.

in case , you have controlled process and available X chart and R chart , what are the values of X bare , sigma ,
