All I can say is that I as a First Nation woman in her late 60's. I will continue praying to the Great Spirit for you . And may your new learning journey be a good one Sir.

Thank you Karen. Pierre is offering a real chance at self determination for First Nations people. Probably the first person ever to offer a real solution.
Alma 18:26 And then Ammon said: Believest thou that there is a Great Spirit? 27 And he said, Yea. 28 And Ammon said: This is God. And Ammon said unto him again: Believest thou that this Great Spirit, who is God, created all things which are in heaven and in the earth? 29 And he said: Yea, I believe that he created all things which are in the earth; but I do not know the heavens. 30 And Ammon said unto him: The heavens is a place where God dwells and all his holy angels. 31 And king Lamoni said: Is it above the earth? 32 And Ammon said: Yea, and he looketh down upon all the children of men; and he knows all the thoughts and intents of the heart; for by his hand were they all created from the beginning.
Wish in one hand, sh t in the other. See which one fills up first.
Yes ! To his " open minded - ness " and honest demeanor and Yes ! To a landslide victory for Pierre 🎉💥 !!! .
If Pierre gets our national vote. Hello landslide and goodbye soyboy let's give him our vote and protect all our own..
Nice to see Pierre on APTN
This might be the first time in history where 95% of Canadians agree that our Prime Minister needs to go. Not everyone seems to be on board with Pierre yet but it's still going well for Conservatives. We need this man, if he can achieve even half the things he claims he can, he should stay Prime Minister for forever in my opinion. I've always said Liberals are good at offering ideas but them running a country is like asking a toddler to cook you a steak.
Only other time I know of this kind of hatred is Robert Borden during WW 1, R B Bennet during the thirties, Pierre Elliott Trudeau but this guy is probably hated more than the previous three combined.
Sorry, but we have no use for a lying populist grifter who sucks up to white supremacists, separatists, incels and homophobes while offering slogans and dog whistles instead of actual solutions. Have you noticed he doesn't advocate for better wages, seniors, or low income children? Cutting taxes doesn't increase wages when the cost of living increases. It only reduces funding to things that the 99% of us need, like healthcare, education, and infrastructure. The CONS are not your friends unless you're wealthy.
I hope you keep your word. I've worked in the oil and gas sector for 15 years and have broken the cycle of poverty my grandmother got us out of. I'm second generation to be out of poverty levels and I'm glad she seen we had to get out into the world and take the many opportunities off the reservation that the federal government control so much of how we live.
You are a living example to young native people everywhere. Being free rather than living off the government is the only route to a fulfilling life.
You can trust them, they never lie.
I believe him.
@@wjjz8902 Me too.
You get 20000 when you turn 18 and pay less income and tax on goods. I love your people and work with them but one can tell those who have gotten off the plantation for lack of a better term. Glad you were one them. We are struggling in different ways
First good thing Ive heard from Polivre.Keep it going and my vote is yours Pierre.

@@terryparenteau1200 He's not wrong. If this is the "first good thing" you've heard from Pierre you're clearly not following along closely and letting partisan media shape your world view of him.

I hear you brother. I have only had to work harder and more hours to feed and keep a roof over my family's head under the liberal gov't. I believe Poilievre is the best person to work with and for first nations.

As a Veteran I met him twice in his Constituents office. He is a fraud. Did you know Harper gave him a new riding in the 2015 election? His old riding Ottawa-West-Nepean has been Liberal since 2015. If Harper didn't throw him a bone in 2015 this fraud would be unemployed.
Its not surprising that Trudeau hasn't been able to make their lives any better... because he doesn't care and doesn't care to learn how to do things well. This is exciting, I think there are some real potentials for amazing changes to the quality of our first nations and the rest of us :)
Trudeau & Harper were & are racist.
Improving all canadians lives is more like it.

That is one issue I have with Poilievre that did not exist with O'Toole. In 2008 Pierre said the Indigenous people need a stronger work ethic
" waterbox juice thingy"
@@wyleecoyotee4252 This can still be true, along with everything else said here. There is always an issue when people receive government money, while lacking opportunity and questionable self-governance. Humans rarely generate self-drive unless pushed. I live in a small city that is nearly half first-nations, and a much larger reserve next to us. Businesses can't get enough labor, yet drugs and unemployment ravages our first nation locals. Managers complain that most people they hire lack any self-drive, and quit within days. This is everyone, of any skin colour, and is a generational issue, but first nations are nearly completely lacking on the local employment front even across decades. Why work when the government gives you money? I work my arse off because if I don't have a job, I lose my home, my vehicle, and become homeless. That's incentive.
@@UncleAnaesthesia thinking anyone else is currently fit to lead our country shows you have no clue what definition of intelligent is.
BC doesn't have Numbered Treaties (i.e. Treaties 1-9).
Roads for northern communities and fresh drinking water .. teach the people how to run their own water treatment centers ... help fix mold issues in their homes pick a reputable builder not some liberal con artist!!
The first idea is interesting to me. The rest of it sounds like stagnant water.
Nonetheless, the idea of having a more direct agreement with companies wishing to use the land I think is a more practical arrangement.
It is not the federal government that manages natural resources, it is the provinces, This is also the case in BC where the land is unceced.
Wrong. The federal government signs off on resource projects.
I am wary of a politician who says, "I'm the only one". I hope he is a man of is word. We shall see.
Wow.
That should change things for the better for first nations.
Hope everyone of them prosper.

One thing that definitely needs to change is how our money is addressed because we are not getting “funded” for anything but we are actually getting “paid” royalties for our natural resources such as oil, timber, limestone, etc. because you don’t stay at someone’s house & live there without paying room & board, I mean how would you feel if I came & stayed at your place & didn’t pay you any rent, room & board, you would want me to leave soon correct so if you don’t like paying for rent, room & board you can always go back abroad where you won’t be bothered with such things because a lot of division is caused by misunderstanding something so simple!

First nations and aboriginal peoples traditionally keep voting for liberal liberal liberal, and what have they got, the same empty promises they still don’t have clean water for one example.
I think much of what he says is true the existing system is not working for most people and there is too much bureaucracy smothering society we are all becoming like serfs on crown land now Indigenous or not. Housing isn't getting built because of red tape and apparently "safe supply" is too weak for most addicts they are just taking it and reselling it to buy harder drugs he said in another interview. How much does he want to invest in rehabs and prevention and border control though? Cities are hiring more cops to deal with crime but they need to hire more lawyers too to process people and he needs to be aware how some including indigenous are often abused by the justice system also. So there is a need for solutions but not all can be oversimplified either. Just look at the fairy Creek Protests and how abused they were by police and the legal system for example and though that was the largest act of civil disobedience in Canadian history it had barely any media attention compared to the freedom convey which was also unconstitutional with the "emergency act" and government overreach. It's difficult to expect police to solve problems when half the time they are the problem and are not held accountable themselves.
Let me get this right do the first Nations people pay taxes on land
Good policies are what canadians are looking for.
He’s intelligent & good looking. Might just have to vote for once. 😅

Do you need a job??
Who is being fooled by Poilievre? He's putting industry development above environmental stewardship. This is the guy who was a cabinet minister in the last Conservative government which gutted federal environmental laws at the direct behest of the fossil fuel industry - and in doing so made the largest attack on native treaty rights in the Canadian history - sparking the Idle No More movement.
Just hours before the last Conservative government was forced to make an apology for residential schools - Poilievre was on an Ottawa radio station using tired old profiling & stereotypes - questioning whether Canada was getting value for all the money being spent to compensate former students of federally financed residential schools. He stated, “Are we really getting value for all of this money?” and “My view is that we need to engender the values of hard work and independence and self-reliance.” Harper made him apologize in the House of Commons the next day.
In the last Conservative government, in which Poilievre was minister of "Democratic Reform," he used classic Republican style voter suppression which resulted in 172,000 people not voting in the 2015 election. That alone should be disqualifying. First Nation representatives, as well as past & present chief electoral officers, students’ groups, seniors’ advocates, academics, and former auditor general Sheila Fraser - all warned Poilievre and his conservative colleagues that their voter suppression scheme would disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of Canadians. And that is exactly what occurred!
Poilievre is totally unfit to be PM. Conservatives are totally unfit to lead. They have no credible climate plan. Their plan is to get rid of carbon pricing - a proven market solution which lowers fossil fuel CO2 emissions causing climate change. The largest and longest ever study on carbon pricing proves that it works at lowering fossil fuel CO2 emissions growth rates. Alberta economist Trevor Tombe has shown that axing the tax would benefit the wealthy. People earning less than $250,000 get more back in carbon rebates than they pay in carbon tax. When will Conservatives ever acknowledge that climate change is increasing costs and causing hardship for Canadians?
we need to be rescued!
Pierre for PM 💙
