Wow, I love will, but knowing how much of a bro off camera he is to seth is just amazing. I gave a standing ovation in my office alone when will forced seth to say "I love you" to his now wife. Like, that was wild and probably steered their relationship in the right direction. That mf sea captain!
The level of savage that comedians will throw at each other just to mess with their dearest friends must make SNL both the most fun and most terrifying place to work.
I'm a year and a half into my relationship with no "I love you." LOL kinda refreshing this happens to other people too. But seriously I contemplate the point of going further without hearing that reciprocation. There's ways to show your affection without using those magical words too so idk!
I honestly feel like five years is a good buffer period before getting married. I will say that Seth not saying that he loves her in two years is a bit odd but it seems to have worked out for them both.
Was an extra in the prison scene in Santa Fe in the new Macgruber series on Peacock. Forte was so polite and calm between takes you'd never think it was going to be a grand tribute to the throat rip.
Couldn’t agree more, parts of it are side bursting funny, for instance macgruber says “ you’re loco” and then subtitles come up to translate “ you’re crazy” surely Zucker and Abrahams loved it too 👍👍👍
First saw Macgruber a couple years ago and cried from laughter the whole time basically. It's the perfect parody of old action moves and tv shows. It introduced me to Will! I also loved Last man on earth. Will needs more recognition!
Will did an interview where he told us what they had planned for the end. I wish they would just get the gang together and finish it even if we just like a 2 part special or miniseries.
When Seth mentioned that macgruber was in 2010, I thought "what?? no way, that movie is way older than 2 years..." and then it hit me that time now flies by way faster than I sometimes think.
...i love will forte SO much!😄...the riff he made, as he got all serious, and stated "youre either a part of the action or not", had me dying😂!!!...so much that my stomach literally hurt!...it reminds me of the up tight father in " meet the parents"(!)😄...thanks for the laughs, both of you! ❤
When MacGruber came (heh) it was an instant hit with everyone i knew. People who love movies like Top Secret, Airplane, Pythons.. those people loved it. I don't know anyone who hated it so it was quite a surprise that it didn't become a mega hit.. Then again, if it did, we would've seen MacGruber II.. and sequels rarely top the first one.
I watched the movie when it was released and I loved it at the time. Couldn't care less about box office. If people don't know what they're missing, it's their problem. And Last man on Earth shouldn't have been cancelled!
I was in Korea when MacGruber came out in theaters, and when I finally saw it, I assumed it was a huge success. That film is so quotable. People are idiots.
#correction - @Grzegorz Spychaj commented below that Seth met Alexi at Chris Kattan’s wedding which was in 2008, and Magruber was shot in 2009 - so maybe it was…8-9 months?
I think it's funny when people in US have very old fashioned names, that now in the countries they originated from, have a completely different meaning. Jorma was a common Finnish name 1940-1960, but nowadays it's really rare and mainly given in honour of older family members as a second or third name. Reason it has fallen out of favour is because for decades now it has meant male genitalia.
I laughed the hardest I've ever laughed out loud at a movie, at one part in MacGruber. I don't want to ruin it for others, but SUCH a great movie. Watch it! 🎬
#Correction. You and Alexi met on Chris Kattan's wedding in 2008 and MacGruber was shot in 2009. So there is no way that you two were in two year relationship. Yes, my grammar sucks, greetings grom Poland
While I def see the resemblance (the beard + hangover) Will's inherent charm and lovability gets in the way of pulling off Cruz's charm-free smarminess.
I've never been in the habit of saying the L word. I can know my relationship is stable and happy without having someone say they love me all the time. In Japan it's quite uncommon to tell your partner you love them. Instead you compliment them or say you like them. In my current relationship (been together one year) we say "I'm happy to be with you" or "I love talking to you." I think the societal pressure around the phrase "I love you" sort of ruins its meaning.
@@kira3835 I think you're conflating two things. There's saying "I love you" several times per day, and then there's saying it for the first time in a romantic relationship, which 2 year is a pretty long time not to in the U.S. at least, since people tend to date to find love rather than just someone with good finances, etc.
I went to go see Macgruber in theatres as a sophomore in high school and it immediately became a damn favorite - so fucking funny - so glad to see more!!!
i make everybody that comes to my house watch MacGruber. saw it in the theater with a friend and we thought it was hilarious, still can't believe it bombed so bad. all time classic in my book, so quotable.
THe more clips I see from this show the more I think it's recorded in an empty studio. That entry music was literally straight out of the emmy's walk on music I swear. And I know it's a crackhead thing to say but the laughter..... it sounds cannnnnnnnnnnnnned
I just love Seth’s friendship with Will and all his other friends from his era of SNL (which many people might agree was one of the best eras of SNL).
Wow, I love will, but knowing how much of a bro off camera he is to seth is just amazing. I gave a standing ovation in my office alone when will forced seth to say "I love you" to his now wife. Like, that was wild and probably steered their relationship in the right direction. That mf sea captain!
Sketch writing is such a collaborative effort. It’s logical that the cast mates become a family.
Everybody got older and moved outta state. Sigh. I really miss having a bff. ;(

The documentaries and tell-all stories of what it's like to work there don't lie.
Seth has got to be the warmest host on television.
Nah, his body temp is 98.6° like everyone else.
Guess it’s easy to tell that your temp is really low. Not, chill. Emotionless. How sad for you.
Definitely. If I were a celebrity, Seth's would be the only late-night show that wouldn't make me have an anxiety attack
2 years without an "I love you?" You are so lucky she married you, dude!
Yeah that felt shocking too, maybe they kept it casual for a long time in those 2 years lol
i know i cant believe he actually admitted that on television thats insane lol
I was thinking the same thing lol! 2yrs is concerning...then again they seem happy now 😄
I'm a year and a half into my relationship with no "I love you." LOL kinda refreshing this happens to other people too. But seriously I contemplate the point of going further without hearing that reciprocation. There's ways to show your affection without using those magical words too so idk!
The more you use a word the less "weight" it has, when it's said.
We gotta agree that Seth's wife is a very patient individual! 🙏🏻
I honestly feel like five years is a good buffer period before getting married. I will say that Seth not saying that he loves her in two years is a bit odd but it seems to have worked out for them both.
She’s always given me the impression that she can barely tolerate him.
I'd like to see her and John Oliver's wife doing a episode. Maybe throw in Jon Stewart's wife ...and Colbert's wife too
Why?
She could have told him she loved him, and she could have proposed.
So patient that she gave birth in the lobby.
Holy crap, that was an amazing Will Forte impression from Seth.
Yeah looks like somebody went to impression camp last weekend
Seth does amazing impressions. It's a pity we don't get to see more of them on a regular basis.
@@Oozes_Dark impression camp was SUCH a good investment!
Of a very specific (and arguably the funniest) character that Will does
A touch ott (high pitched), but still very good

I love Will Forte and everything he creates.
Seth's impression of Will Forte! I would watch it for 15 minutes!

Check out the new series on Peacock!
It has become a cult classic for sure
I don’t know why, but I think Forte would be unreal as Ted Cruz on SNL.
But I like Aidy Bryant as him (though they had Beck Bennett as him one time and could have taken that and ran with it).
I cried laughing so hard watching Macgruber the first time I saw it. The copier toner as lube joke was the funniest thing ive ever heard before.

To be fair, Seth’s mom says she loves him while looking at Josh.
So maybe he’s not so quick to say it.
Last man on Earth was amazing. If I ever become rich I will pay for the movie finally.
