I do think the conversation is so much more interesting when he talks to people like Andy Samberg, John Mulaney, or Cecily Strong. (And others as well.)
Agree when he first showed up all I kept thinking was like OK I can’t wait to hear what he says about frisbee. What is the segment went on? I totally forgot about frisbee because he’s just so good anime to the grocery list. Contact with frisbee is just killing myself like I couldn’t stop smiling!!!!
Genuinely might be my favorite interview seth has ever done. The og jackals will appreciate the frisbee rivalry is still going strong, and I know for me personally, I only just watched b99 for the first time over the pandemic, and fell in love with Andy from that. This gave me so much joy. And Seth, PLEASE GO DAY DRINKING WITH ANDY IT WILL BRING WORLD PEACE IM SURE OF IT.
Not amazing, just the Hollywood way. Everyone has Botox, everyone gets surgery, small tasteful tiny tweaks so you notice nothing unless you watch the changes from the very beginning And than they turn 50, and they look funny, but you can’t quite explain why…. it’s just standard.
@@margicates553 you can tell when someone gets botox and surgery. There are certain people that just age slower. Like my Father is Paul Rudd level and it blows my mind. I am not like him due to my moms genes. He is 55 not one grey hair and still thick (though he gets grey/white in his beard but shaves), still looks like hes 35 and hes a head chef of a very busy restaurant. The sous chefs age like crazy but not him haha. Me, Im going bald (thanks my moms dad)
I'm convinced that people who think Paul Rudd doesn't age either have no critical thinking skills or no eyes. The dude has aged pretty normally. Shocker! Some people stay good-looking as they age and Paul Rudd is one of those people. But the amount of people who say he looks like he hasn't aged in 20 years or that he still looks the same as he always did is wild. He absolutely does not. He looks a good five or six years younger than he is, sure, but he doesn't look like the same young man he once was. We literally romanticize youth so much that we're lying to ourselves about who looks young. People can be older and look their age and still be good-looking. There is nothing wrong with that. And saying someone looks way younger than they are shouldn't be the massive compliment it seems to be in our culture.

You can tell how really good friends they are because, objectively speaking, everything Andy’s saying should count as a “bad, rude guest” but Seth’s laughing along and clearly is not bothered which speaks to their many years of friendship
I remember the early days of Corrections when Seth called Samberg on the phone before Samberg stopped taking his calls because he was appearing on Jimmy Kimmel’s show.
99% of the studio audience are tourists visiting New York who tried to see SNL on a weekday and got roped into Seth’s show and truly are wondering why Andy hates that dog😂. Andy doing an entire segment for Seth written by Seth’s team in about 8 minutes is true friendship. Love to you both!
I’m not a huge Andy Samberg fan and I almost never watch the guest interviews, but I always get excited when I see Andy’s clips with Seth. Their chemistry is so amazing I know it’s gonna be hilarious, and this one didn’t disappoint 😁.
@@megbdaisy I never said they were off the top of his head. But they all seemed good enough to be actual skits that will never happen, and that's no problem because he for sure has many more ideas that are much better.
this is what i imagine working with them at snl was like, one of them being exceptionally funny just because for minutes and the other giggling uncontrolably in the backrgound
Andy destroying Frisbee never fails to make my mind, body, heart, feel blissful and truly happy for at least a moment. I’ve never been anti-dog, I love dogs so much, Andy’s beef with Frisbee just comes off honest, and brave. Frisbee must truly suck. Seth has provided next to no good conflicting evidence. As a dog dad, he should have by now…. Unless…. He too understands this?
Andy Samberg is such a comedy icon that he talks like he could just come on stage and do absolutely nothing of value and an entire generation of people would just become more obsessed with him than they already are, and he's absolutely right
Correction for Andy: IBS is not considered a disease, it’s a syndrome as the name (irritable bowel syndrome) indicates. However, IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) is.
I love it when someone like Samberg comes on or almost anyone Seth knows especially from SNL and kind of takes over the show while they're on.
The comedy thesis recital😊😢🎉
I do think the conversation is so much more interesting when he talks to people like Andy Samberg, John Mulaney, or Cecily Strong. (And others as well.)
Seth let’s them shine
This! And I love it that the whole production crew gets in on it.

I was waiting for him to roast poor Frisbee. Did not disappoint. 10/10 would watch again 😂
I somehow forgot all about it and was so thrilled to hear it 😂

Andy never disappoints when he comes to the show! 😂
And it feels like when Arsenio Hall would drag Eddie Murphy out
You're right. It's probably because he and Seth are good friends so their jokes and banter never feel forced.
Yeah someone should give him a show!
OR WHEN HE DOESN'T and it's facetime!!😅
“I don’t think people would’ve liked that.”
“No. They would’ve.” 💀😂😂
My favorite part is Seth giggling non-stop in the background 😂
Andy-Seth combo is gold!
Yep, has been since the SNL days.
Schnozfest, too.
YES
Seth’s genuine laugh is so wholesome.
Andy has a really pleasant smile irl. Didn't notice it before. He seems like a really chill dude overall tbh.
This isn’t irl 😅
Can we please talk about Andy's jacket? I think it deserves its own show. :D
Yes, I like this sweater. I like a good modern grandpa sweater.
That there is a cardigan. It's a very specific fashion choice
Honestly, I was wondering if it was a super inside joke for the knitting community debacle. 😂
It’s a crocheted cardigan. I wonder if it was handmade.
Wonder if Patty Lyons crocheted that, yes I know knitting and crocheting are different, Patty can be multifaced okay
I’ve waited years for Andy’s return to the show(in person). It did not disappoint.
Always a delight when Andy's on the show!
I believe in my heart of hearts that Andy absolutely adores Frisbee, and they are snuggle-buddies whenever he hangs out with Seth.
one of extremely few people who brings me instant comfort. my hero ☺️
Well damn, we definitely need Andy as a guest on Corrections now. Make it happen! This was too funny
Agreed!! Maybe for the 100th episode 😝
He has been! Seth calls him aha

Aww Seth looks so happy to have his friend there with him, after all those desperate Corrections phonecalls... Poor Frisbee, though 🤣

Seth really shines when his old SNL brethren come on. Just walked into 30 Rock must be trippy for them. It’s like visiting your old High School
I sometimes forget this show isn't just a 10-12 minute news/joke set and actually has guests.
Lol yeah I'm the same. I watch a closer look on TH-cam every night but that's about it. Well until someone like Andy shows up.
