This one was amazing, honestly, as someone who's going through imposter syndrome, thinking i'm not good enough, taking a lot of my focus back to the drawing board. This episode was something I definitely wanted to hear. First Jake, id quit my job and work for you full time in LA if I could, you're mentality and how you move is something I've always looked up to and admired since your pure directing days with futuristic and Kyle. For me, the biggest thing I took away was what Tom kept getting at which is 'doing the thing'. No matter how I see it these thoughts feelings and emotions are going to be here and unfortunately or fortunately they're natural and that I just need to make my way through them as I continue trying to " do the thing ". From you Jake, I understand making sure you're making the right decisions with your time and being able to make sure you limit what can be looked at as distractions. There was ALOT in this episode, but I really loved hearing all of it and needed to hear it for my own self growth, and advancement. Appreciation towards you both and I'm living vicariously through Tom in wanting to move to LA from the Bay and chase all my cinema dreams. I hope to meet you two some day when I rent out the barracks or the eclectic west sets.

Jakob I think if your able to put people in position to run your other business so that you can focus on a movie in the future. Yes it seems to be daunting and could be a difficult task but will help you in the long run !

I love that part where you talked about that client that brings negativity first, I've had a similar one lately and it's just messed up! I mean just saying the word can you change this is far better than shitting on everything .

I'm personally not a fan of sugar-coating when it comes to feedback. I often find myself skimming notes because I can sense when the turn comes and the actual required changes are mentioned. Ideally feedback is clear and concise and options for new directions are suggested. But we all know how rarely this happens...
