    Yea there is a flow on set. Even if you have a shot list, something always happens where you have to problem solve.

    Treating shot lists and storyboards as bibles can absolutely cause friction if situations arise that dont match strict expectations, but I believe those documents can help me re-enforce my understanding of and confidence in the story I'm telling. And I find that this confidence helps me keep an open mind to new ideas and exploration. And if (when) exploration goes awry, having a blueprint in your back pocket never hurt anybody.
