These were on my Classic 500 when I bought it. Used them for a couple months and just didn't like dealing with the inner liner and the D rings especially if the straps got wet, forget about it. And just one jacket fills up the whole bag. I rigged up some 20mm ammo cans onto the same pannier racks and have a huge amount of storage space now. They are actually a little too big..have to be careful boarding to not whack ankle. My bike is battle green so they look...appropriate.
Cool saddlebags Sandy. Get a jar of Sno Seal and spread it on the canvas to get a nice weather protection, also good for stains while getting a nice patina.
I'm going to do exactly the same with my desert sand model. I'll be losing the pillion seat and fixing a small rack on the rear mudguard. Looks great though! 👍
Got the Red and Chrome so gone for black bags .but same d ring model. Was tempted by black with red straps ones but thought it may be a bit too gaudy Definitely will treat the canvas with fabsil or another waterproofing agent. And got two dry sacks for my camping gear which will easily fit in these including my golite tipi 3 man tent.
Installed one on my "Juggernaut", man I absolutely LOVE this bike, the way it looks the way she makes you feel. Funy thing is to see how many people stop doin' what they are doin' to behold the Royal as I approach XD, some will find excuses just to stop me and going... "hey by the way... what a bike...have a nice day ". Man, this bike teaches you the "slow-paced" approach at motorcicling and I love it, pure free-minded relaxation as I roam the land at the low rattle of my trench- machine gun beast. I don't care about speed ( neved had ) I don't indulge in petty recing or stuff like that, I just love riding this babe like I would have 60 or 70 years ago If I had to go back in time. UNMATCHED.
Good find on those pannier racks, do you have a link? First set I bought off ebay were wrong, they sent me what I think are Classic 500 racks. So they don't fit correctly but I made it work somehow. I recently bought another set, hoping for the correct fitment. They appear to have correct attachment points (haven't put them on yet) but I wish the L part was welded like yours. The part the bottom of the bag sits on is connected by screws which will come loose.
That’s my favourite 350. Probably you got this Rack from Karol Bagh New Delhi which is hub for Bullet accessories. Nice one sandy now you are ready to ride from New Jersy To New Delhi 😀🇺🇸🇮🇳
i own a 66 bullet i find the stuff cheap an nasty im a brit they jus dont builed them likey used to i put a 66 lump into a bullet army had the lump for years my gears on ther right there not wot they used to be but each to there own
Hello mate. I bought some supports similar to yours and I'm a little afraid to assemble them because I have to remove the shock absorber top screw. When the screw is removed, does the spring stretch and do we have to compress it again to replace the screw? Greetings.
Hey.... Your video is nice & informative , but everything you shared in your bio related to spare parts and their links apart from saddle stay & saddle bag link..😅& i am pretty much interested in those. Could you please share this.!!

Those look very sharp and period correct. “Quick, man, take these dispatches to the front!”
Owned one myself. Nostalgia!!

Good Tip on how to hold the nut that goes behind the shock in place. Electrical taping the nut to the wrench is genius!
What a dramatic soundtrack! Also good use of tape to hold the nut in place.
Smart move with the electrical tape! Awesome video
Awesome looking bike. Can’t wait to see it in person brother.
Those saddle bags look *_perfect_* with that bike!

Just found your channel, really like your Royal Enfield videos, keep them coming!
Great stuff !! Bought a RE 350 classic in dark gunmetal grey today .
😍 So happy .
Best wishes from Germany.
Thanks buddy and enjoy the bike !
Definitely looks cool.
Good idea to ad some washers !
Cool bike Sandy!
I love it!
Looks real coolJust ordered one on coffee brown color
Awesome dude! I'm going to try to fit that on a 2012 500.
That’s pretty damn slick man. I just got the stealth black classic and want to put the same kind of bags on it but black leather. 😎
Saddlebags do look nice. I always thought saddlebags for that type of bike would look good made out of ammo cans.
Ride safe.
want to see the ones on my old bullet
They do. I have the larger, 20mm cans mounted on mine. They're a bit too big actually, but the 50 cal cans are kinda small, so...compromises.

Someone needs to make an all in one fender/pannier support bracket.

Your classic looks really cool -
the bags look awesome on it too & pratical.
I think it would look ever better if you removed the pillion seat.
Love it !!!!

Loose the back seat..and see the coolness
Beautiful 👍
Love the bags. Just got mine. How are the bags secured tightly to the frame? Thank you!
Looks good. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks brother
How did the bags fit to the pannier ?
Nice looking 🏍 my friend 👍🇵🇷🙂
Another dog went pp there. Bags are nice.
Nice.
Can you share the link for these bags and rack? Are they water proof inside ?
I bought them on eBay. I don’t think they are waterproof- it’s heavy canvas
