I recommend reading ancient gear fortress at least 4 times before you try to do anything, the card just randomly in the middle of all its text says your opponent can't respond to any ancient gear effect
I'm betting one of my kidneys it gets hit on the banlist at the end of the year. Semi-limited would be my guess.

@@RejectHumanityReturn2Monke not really, the card is very old, is not a new thing, is not part of any new combo, is just the "defense" car for Ancient Gear, and you can respond and deny Fortress itself. i would be very surprised in any ancient gear card ever go into the banlist

Major misplay, you can’t use both effects of ancient gear catapult in the same turn.
I think a ref saw it and then they replayed from themçre, but he also won

so droplet is a legal activation and resolves but doesnt affect the Golem if he is choosed.

10:20 the Ancient Gear Ballista would targets the Accesscode Talker and pops a Spell trap from yourself. then Accesscode Talker ATK/DEF would becomes 0.
but Ancient Gear Catapult ha a hard once per turn to he cant summon the ancient Gear Token, used as material for the Balista
10:50 why did he pass the turn? he just could perform a fusion summon with Ancient Gear Duel into Ancient Gear Howitzer and then goes into the Ancient Gear Ballista and search Geartown, pop Geartown target Accesscode Talker. Then Summon with Geartown the Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon.

Ancient Gear Fortress is my favorite Ancient Gear spell the ability to conduct your turns without any interruption is brutal.
I think if Magical Hound bounces an Extra Deck monster, that's not considered successfully returning a card to the hand, so the part of the effect to Special Summon itself should disappear.

Power Filter is extremely strong against snake eyes and snake eyes fire king
So is deck lockdown. Power filter may be better if you cannot afford to play deck lockdown because of how your deck functions
@cameraman1234567890 you can run both. But deck lockdown kinda falls short with it being 2 turns and doesn't stop them from setting spells/traps from the deck.
Power filter can be crippling especially if you're running board breakers.

Then they turn ash and witch into moon of closed sky and start Fiendsmith combo which generally goes into princess to revive ash and they go full combo from there. Tier 0 deck for a reason

Ancient Gear guy cheated the first game, since you cannot activate both AG Catapult's effect the same turn. you can only use 1 of its effects per turn

Ancient gears are low key good but ask alot of people and all they will say is it sucks without even playing them. Not u others do it alot
I play Ancient Gears, the deck is pretty decent but loses hard to ash blossom, droll and nibiru. it is the definition of a glass cannon deck, it either otks hard or loses hard lol
They have a lot of nice support in archtype and in general being a machine deck. Nobody is playing the 1 of cyberdragon with chimeratech or system down these days so machines are in a pretty nice spot if you can make it work!

Ancient gear fortress is one of the most powerful archetypal spells ever. You basically can't target AG monsters and can't destroy them with any effects too the turn they're summoned. And the best part, you can't RESPOND TO ANY AG EFFECTS.
With this match, I'm betting it gets hit to limited by the end of the year.
Nah. Ancient Gear isn't meta.
thats the only good card Ancient Gears have. and the deck isnt event a threat to the meta, far from it.
the card i around since forever, and was never a problem, is not part of any broken combo, and is a key card for Ancient gear gameplay since the archtype dont have any other way to negate effects, and since negate is 90% of yugioh this days, will kill the archtype.
also make zero sense since you can negate fortress itself, if the opponent allow you to activate fortress is just the opponent doing a missplay, no reaosn to ban it
You paper babies really go off the rails when you have to both 1. read the cards and 2. see your $1,000 investment get bodied by an untiered deck that you've convinced yourself should never beat you.
I don't like that to compete you have to play cards that are unaffected or that prevent the opponent's responses.
Fortress is just lazy card design, give any deck a card like that and it would top.

You're just bitching that everyone doesn't want to play the same turn 1 turbo negate slop that YOU'RE playing. You want everyone to play in your PREFERRED play style. Nah. The game would literally die tomorrow if negate spam was the only way to play.

I lost interest once I saw Ancient Gear Dragon in the deck
Then game 2 I saw Desires and just died inside
He 100% was winning off of the oppnents not knowing what was going on and clearly cheating by using Catapult effects in the same turn lol
You dont have 8 wins 1 draw and then make a mistake like that. Nah he knew what he was doing because he was going all in off that graveyard effect.
