  • We took an extra day off from the long weekend and traveled to the Tankwa Karoo National park. Here we stayed for one night at an informal campsite “Oom Rickert se Huis” (don’t camp too close to the house as bees have made it their home now)
The next day we explored the National Park and went on a beautiful 4x4 route up on Leeuberg, from here we headed out to Biedouw Vallei Wegbreek. We came to a stop as the river going into the Biedouw valley was to high to cross over and we had to turn around to find a bridge - this was a 2 hour detour.
Meeting up with the family at Biedouw Vallei Wegbreek, we camped here for two nights and we went on the 4x4 route and the next day a lovely short hike to the swim holes.

Awesome footage! You deserve more views, have you considered doing a voice over and giving some more information on where you are, what your doing, how the trip is going ect.?

Thank you so much, I have considered it and might be adding a few voice overs in future videos. At the moment I'm enjoying just the filming + editing without the added stress of what to say. 😅

@@ForThisLife i understand, and at least your videos are on TH-cam, all my footage is on a HDD that I'm too lazy to edit 😊

Yes, most definitely - the only part I would avoid or be careful of is the Leeuberg 4x4 trail in the Tankwa park as the rocks are very sharp. Always remember to deflate your tire pressure a little. But you can drive around the 4x4 route.
