When you looking for loads do you search for flatbed loads or Conestoga I’m looking to get one but when you search pacifically Conestoga there’s bare minimum?
I just search for flatbed mainly. On Truckstop I will put the Conestoga up top just to see if someone is throwing big money at a Conestoga only load. Most loads will fit so when I call I usually tell the broker what I’m working with from the get go.
You strike me a person that learned to truck from someone and not a school. That is a thing of the past. The new breed of drivers are just doing a job in a truck they aren't truck drivers. Like all trades it will continue to get worse as less and less parents do their jobs.
Yes! You called it right. It starts with the parents and their socal, moral and work ethics. Yes I learned to truck from truck drivers, mainly my dad. I was a week old the first time my parents put me in a truck.
@@thedirtytrucker9633 you have no idea what I would give to have had that kind of childhood. Spent 25 years in construction myself and as soon as I get some health issues straightened out I'm going give trucking a try. Really enjoy your videos it's nice to see that a one man show can still make a go of it.
Sweat pants, shorts, sandals and rubber shoes. I wear boots and jeans even in the heat of summer in Palm Springs. Thank the lord I don’t do team.

I was a truck driver back in the 80's and it was better back then . We didn't have all the bullshit like it is right now.

Sweat pants, flip flops I see it all the time. No professionalism, no courtesy, and no respect for the industry or this way of life.
Spot on! No one cares. It’s just a job. Sad thing is these are the people that actually want a job.
