Io l'ho usato con Vienna per gestire tutta l'orchestra digitale e funziona da Odino!

Finalmente un video sulle performance master/slave sarebbe stato fico anche in italiano

What makes a good slave machine ? What kind of cpu? 2 ram sticks or 4? What speed and cas latency etc

@@bensmirmusic the only universal "rule" would be that number of cores is not relevant, then everything else becomes super complicated. Everything sweetspots depending on the workload.
Actually no, for some socket there are different die and some specific number of cores is better, so really, every platform has different rules / sweetspot

@@mircomputers Ok thank you, I never had slave computers, but out of the two music computer I built in my life I was unlucky or made bad decisions (ryzen 5 issues with ram speed back in the day, and today i9 14th with too much ddr5 ram low speed and mediocre performance). I guess the ideal slave would be 64gb of ram to maximize very fast speed and low cas latency, with cpu not being that important like you say

@bensmirmusic you understood good, actually 48gb sticks exist so 96 is ok
