I just bought a new '24 Wrangler Sport. $8k off MSRP, in the Bay Area, CA - it came out to approx $26.6K plus tax, title & docs. It was advertised this past Friday, I called the dealership to verify the price was truly the price, and picked it up the next day. Now I'm shopping lifts & wheels & tires, lol.
Damn dude! I thought I got a good deal, I was 38K total final out the door, no where near 26K. (True mine isn’t the base sport, I got all the goodies with the Sport S trim) But still damn that’s a good deal at 26K for a base. Great job!
I have over 800 credit score and I got approved on a 7.8 interest rate and if I decided to finance the car I would’ve spent over $15-$20,000 worth of interest charges. You guys are out of your damn mind. And I love Jeeps.
I've got a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon and I would just be happy with a 5.7L. That would also probably keep the cost reasonable for the regular consumer. It would also provide more than enough power. The 392s are super fun, just completely out of my price range
The "discounts" is really just because sales of wranglers were down by like 22% and gladiators by like 14% (maybe it was the other way around?) for the first half of '24. Jeep kept increasing prices as long as people paid them. People stopped paying them, now they gotta bring the prices down. Nice.
Was talking with a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon owner today. Less than 5k miles on it and the driver door and hood already had corrosion paint blisters on the hinges and adjacent body panels. I'd need a larger discount knowing the corrosion issues are persisting .
I can attest to that. I grabbed a 2024 Rubicon X Unlimited with Sky One Power top for $60k (that included everything...tax, tags, fees) in NC. I think the MSRP was $67430. Traded in my JKU and knocked the out the door price down to $49k. If I had my time back I would have asked for some additional addons, like the tow package. Interest rates are still rough though, I got 5% from my local bank.
Realistically I couldn’t justify spending anymore than the already overinflated prices on Jeeps. I got into mine through a trade with a dealer at the tail end of Covid. I got a year old used JLU for $43,000 but they paid me $31,000 for my 5 year old truck that was paid for. At most it should be a $5000 engine option. I’m not talking a psycho 392. Just a 5.7 liter standard V8. It would make enthusiasts happy, dealers happy, regular customers happy.
Discounts are simply because dealers have over 6 months of inventory on the lots. CJDR is sitting on hundreds of millions of all models on dealer lots across the nation. It is a caompany wide problem that is not going to change any time soon.
Ya. I don't want aftermarket. I don't want to pay for a v6 and throw it away and then pay to upgrade everything I already paid for. From the factory is what we want. @@stuartstogdill2406
Personally I think all trims of Jeeps both Wranglers and Gladiators should be between 25k and 50k. When you start getting out of the 40ks, you've priced yourself out of your core market. Years now Jeeps have been getting higher and higher and wondering into luxury pricing, and that's not Jeep. Lets not even get started on that abysmal 20-mile range on the 4xe.
I just bought a fairly well equipped 2024 Gladiator Rubicon with the v6 and it was $65,000. I figure if there was a v8 gladiator in the $75-80,000 range and it was available I would have swung for that instead. But $160k is way way more than I would ever spend on a Gladiator considering I can get a fully optioned gladiator from AEV instead for roughly the same price.
I just bought a 2024 Gladiator Mojave X about a week ago. Right at $13,000 off of sticker. Thanks Tim Short of Morehead, KY. Don Franklin of Somerset, KY also has some great deals. Close to $15,000 off sticker. We went to Morehead to get the High Velocity colored Gladiator.
These Jeep news videos are real informative because i'm not the type of person to actively research stuff daily or weekly so these videos help keep me in the loop.
Jeep should have did this from the factory with a 392 Hemi V8 engine for the Gladiator !! And for a lower price they should It's offer the small 5.7 L Hemi V8 engine too !!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪💪
A factory 392 Gladiator should not cost anymore than a 392 Wrangler. Our local Jeep dealer (Utah) only has the Wranglers marked down 4-5k. The only one not marked down is a 392 Final Edition in Anvil listed at 106k.
Again Great Video… My 2021 JEEP Gladiator Mojave is almost paid off. Now I’m chatting with The Wife about keeping my Gladiator and Purchasing a 392 Wrangler or 392 Gladiator to have in the garage.
Matt, Great Meeting you and Ryan at GSMJI! I think the majority of Jeep Gladiator consumers just want a reliable V8. Mostly for the torque that you get and still run 87 Octane or mid grade like in Ram. They also want more of a Ram 1500 price tag, Me personally I’d like to see a 2500/3500 (J20/J30 package that can tow a good size camper or boat and comes with factory 1-Tons Maybe rear 44/60S combo, Full-float 60s front and rear, or a 60 Front w/ rear 70/80. Personally I’d love to see a Cummins Manual Option J20 model Gladiator come from the factory.
If they offered the 5.7L with the manual transmission, I would have purchased it with no question. We need more torque than what the 3.6 offers because us Rubicon owners are over 5,000lbs curb
I hope to do a hemi swap in my gladiator. To me, it should be priced a little cheaper than the ram powerwagon. So 75k or so. New vehicle prices have gotten out of hand to begin with.
Prices are just too high on the Jeeps. I’ve been priced out. Even if I could afford it I’m not spending what it would take to get the new Jeep I would want. I’ll likely never spring for a new one ever again and the used market isn’t much better. If the market doesn’t change drastically I guess I’m keeping my JT forever or I’ll end up not having a Jeep at some point which would make me very sad. I loved my JK and love my JT. So many amazing adventures in them… Sad that everything is so overpriced, especially Jeeps. I don’t want the good times to end.
In Australia dealers have new ‘23 JT’s they still can’t move. We haven’t even seen a ‘24 JT here yet (only JL). A factory 392 JT would sell in Australia.
I currently have a 2023 JTR with the 3,6 V6 as no V8 option exists here in Belgium, Europe. The budget/price range for a JTR with a V8 would be for me between €90k and €100k, so between $100k and $110k.
I’m tryna hold out for that Gladiator 4xe ! But if those Wrangler deals get too good to be true I’ll just have to catch the Gladiator when that lease is up 😅 realistically I think they’re going to start it at $70k. But Im hoping that with the low sales and trends they’ll drop it at $48k
My JK is a 2010 so you have an idea what i paid new. Looks like ill never hv another new one after reading what yall are willing to spend. These are toys but im realizing these are being purchased for reasons i don’t. understand
Anything more than $75-80K for a V8 Gladiator is overpaying. Nothing but a company taking advantage of its customers. They should have had V8s in them all along. Thanks for the update. Certainly a nice looking Jeep.
You get some ink while you were away?? Also I think that prices, especially for jeeps are extremely high compared to before Covid… it’ll still be a couple of years before we get back to anything normal… And I was hoping for a V8 Gladiator from the factory but this will do!!!🤙
When the hell is Jeep going to upgrade the Gladiators? Xtreme Recon....Bigger engine ? May be a buyer if they do....Til then, keeping my 2 door Rubicon 3.6...Cmon Jeep !
$130k is not the average consumer, bro lol. Let's say we get a deal on a Gladiator at $55k. Then do an engine swap for $30k. Then a bobbed bed for $10k. Then the hydro hood for $5k. Add on the lift. We should be looking at $105k. Right about where the 392 Wranglers are
%15 percent off is not enough %20 percent is good 30% is realistic once the 2025’s hit the dealerships with the exception being the 392 Jeep not much wiggle room
Gorgeous Jeep. But no way this Jeep should cost $170k. The best thing to do is to buy a gladiator with super high miles and swap the axles and the engine. Install Dodge 6.4 392 Hemi V8 Engine. The total project will cost you no more than 50k.
The major issue is the ownership doesn’t understand the customer base. The second issue too much variability. Eliminate 1/2 of the trim levels and bundle the options more. Third is price/quality. And they don’t have anyone who understands.
I don't think the discounts are any good, cuz the price is SO high, with the discounts, the price is still too high ... HOLY Sh$t! The AMW is crazy... For a Jeep! I couldn't afford the gas in one of those things. Thats crazy. I wonder if the sound would get old after a while? Then on a trail... Our 3.6 engine would follow it everywhere it goes... The AMW would just get there faster... Then need to fill up before we continue on.
I think Jeep needs a reality check. I love the V8 Gladiator but for the price and usability I would take a Ram Power Wagon and save $80,000. There price of $160,000 is ridiculous. That price is for the rich and not the average Jeep buyer.
trying to bring it to entry level consumers. the lowest price engine swap they do starts at 40k that almost doubles the price of the entry level consumer jeep cost.

Grabbed a Mojave X...Sticker price was $70k... I got it for $55k out the door.

Mojave and Rubicon should be V8 standard

For the $60k+ they want for them, it should be at least the 5.7.
Exactly. Anything more than 40k should come with a v8 egine.

Well ya, big discounts, because as a manufacturer they had some of the steepest msrp increases in the industry.
Cars in general are way over inflated, people need to wait like 2 or 3 years for the market to bounce back.
I agree, in my opinion the market is in big trouble and may crash
💯 $50k+ is still too much for a jeep
It is not going to "bounce back"... hgih prices are here to stay.

Im a big fan of AMW 4x4- BUT $17k for a bobbed bed? Their prices have huge markups on the sliders, winch setup, etc. thats just STUPID

$100k is max on a 392 gladiator. No different then a wrangler.
