Hi man! Your truck sounds really nice! I'm restoring my '88 Silverado single cab, long bed. I have it since 2019, bought scrappy, abandoned and carefuless for its latest owner. Its body is very healthy, the engine had a few "mickey mouse" on the harness, intake maniful, maniful gasket, alternator, power steering pump and the transmission. I've fixed every one those faults myself. I wish drive it and listen those sweety V8's 350 tbi sound again. Thanks a lot, best regards from Guadalajara, Mexico 👍🏼😉
i saw you hold on to that drink can going around a corner lol. gm should have built better cup holders, i spilled my coffee on the dash in my dads truck like that. my dad has a 97 5 speed single cab, i love those old 5 speeds.
I have 95' 2500 6.5l diesel looks like yours I will be honest your interior is little nicer not that mine is bad but anyway love the truck sounds great
@@spunk97100 I'm driving an 05 2500HD 4x with the NV4500 now and it has been a great truck these last 16+ years, not a single issue! Sure miss that we can no longer buy the manual transmission!
Stick shift is fun but the tricky thing about it is how to get it moving u got to learn how to use the clutch pedal my aunt always says the more u give the more u take so like if u rev the gas to 5000 rpms u spin out you put the clutch slowly to u the truck will move u bring the clutch pedal to fast you will stall all u have to learn is how to use the clutch
Not to sound like a know it all, but neutral at the stop lights will greatly extend the life of the throw out bearing.
Eddie Crowe oh well don’t have the truck anymore, but I learned how to drive stick in that truck so I was still learning all the tricks of manuals
Thats actually good to know thanks 🙏
@@spunk97100 when you had this truck was the. Cherry bomb muffler dumped under the cab FYI just asking
@@julianpavlock6943 ya it dumped right before the axle

Wish I still had it, shoot myself in the foot everyday for getting rid of it
Just finished my build, 95 extended 4x4 and swapped a nv4500 5 speed. Loving it
