Thats one fine beast you got there! My 97 C1500 stepside will arrive I hope next week. Around 145k on the clock. She's not mint, got some spots here and there. But art takes time!
Man I got a 95 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 4x4 with shorty headers and it's black looks identical to this except I got a cowl hood and bed bars going down the side of the bed and my truck is a farm truck so it's got a lil bigger tires and a 3 inch lift but I honestly can't find another like it I can't find any like it
Pretty clean. Needs long tube headers, aluminum heads, ported intake, a more aggressive cam, true dual exhaust with all the emissions crap taken off, and an upgraded 2 din touch screen with navigation.

I have a 95 Chevy stepside. everything is stock(cosmetic wise) and iv never found another truck with the same rims. I'm still looking and it's impossible
I just GOT ME a 1989, GMC 4x4 1500 SLE short bed pick UP TRUCK 350 vortec. 4 new 17" mud seamer tires mounted on factory alum 6- lug wheel bolt pattren how I got this truck was MY RENTERS owed me $3500.00 back rent they could not pay. so I took the truck instead. 160 thousand miles on 1989, 350 vortec ice cold A/C.🙏😊 thank, you jesus for the BACK RENT that was owed.
Man" That's alot of paint! These are one of my favorite year truck, except for the Stepside, and the featherweight 10-bolt rear end's & the sloppy rag joint steering, and although that 4l l60 is fragile, it's up to the task for the long lasting 190hp tbi with the worst heads Chevy ever made. But man The Body Lines especially in Black SWEET! You put some vortec heads on it, or better yet LS swap it, put a 6 lug 14-bolt and a Detroit truetrac in it, Ford Windstar electric fans, Jeep Cherokee steering shaft, and get rid of that hopped up Volkswagen size exhaust system, get you a Gear star or aftermarket transmission with improvements over the stock. You could probably sell it and get all your money back, or just buy some polish turd and sell to someone that doesn't know better, do it a few times, before you know it you can get it all the good stuff for free , selling at Barrett-Jackson for 40,000💰
Seems like you know so much about these stepside I’ve got a 90s stepside manuel tranny 5.7 tbi are those as shitty as this one? 😂 I bought it for 3.9k Cali truck no rust and bad paint
@@sega2229 I do, its because I love them, own them, I didn't say it was shity, I said I love it, but yeah it is a lot of paint, yes TBI is the worst power output Chevy ever came out with. I was just making suggestions of what would make it run as good as it looks. Handle like a modern truck. It doesn't take much research to find out that the 190 horsepower tbi motor is reliable but underpowered, everyone knows how sloppy the steering is in the Chevys, since you didn't invent tbi or the rag joint on these trucks I see no reason for you to take it personally. Since I think you can handle it now, don't put too much power behind that 5-speed they're not built for it. If you're not into power and upgrades, and recommendations give you a wedgie, at least you still have a good-looking truck. 👍
@@kevinwest3689 hi you forgot about the shitty brakes I up graded mine to rear disc and a jeep intermediate steering shaft , but like you say I love that truck th-cam.com/video/-BDUuHcDqW4/w-d-xo.html
