- The Americans season 3, episode 11, "One Day in the Life of Anton Baklanov" is reviewed. Should this be called, "A Day in the Life of Paige Jennings?" Paige and her future as a spy and her relationships with Phillip and Elizabeth take center focus. If the foundation of her life is fake, what is real?

I think Nina's method of manipulation is to be as candid as possible in everything she says. It makes her seem a lot more authentic, but it makes the eventually back-stab so much more burdensome on her psyche.
Don Quixote Yeah, he has to trust her to eventually devulge that he is slowing down the program on purpose (which he porbably is). What better way to get that trust than to find something incriminating, letting him know, but not telling anybody in authority?
Miles It's brilliant. It overshadows the fact that she was snooping in the first place. Ex-post justification.

I think I'm giving up on this channel. I used to love it but it seems to be a low priority for them. Aside from Game of Thrones, the shows that they review regularly are the ones I don't watch. And GoT reviews/discussion I can get virtually anywhere.
The beeps are when they are going into the cage i think is what they call it. Its not a coisidence that they had those to scenes pretty close together.

That's a good point Martha could be over at Stan's house and Clark could be in the yard
I think when Martha realizes he has a wife she'll cut ties, maybe even be so heart-broken that she doesn't care about turning herself in.
Also there was a scene in the first season I think with a social gathering at Beeman's house they were at and FBI agents were at, but I think they kept their distance.
Also what's up with the black lady and her abusive husband who's back in the picture and trying to pull the strings all of a sudden? That's sorta left-field.
But I guess it's all about the third act climax we're in of the 5 act structure. Looking forward to how everything falls out.
Why did they want Martha dead so bad.. Binging it now and I saw that she still seems to be there in season 4 so it's kinda tiring.. One of my favorite characters tho.. So i guess that's part of it..
