Oh that cost trigger on cast only for the Eyeball is similar to the cast trigger for Doomsday Excruciator, EG if you're not building a mill deck but a Valgavoth cheat out deck, you can put Doomsday in it, toss him in the graveyard and cheat him to the battlefield to get a 6/6 flyer that draws a card every turn.
I've seen decks run 0 Mentors and instead go up to 4 Haughty Djinn. You just have to be mindful of what you exile if you hard-cast Oculus because you can neuter your own Djinn's power. It wins really fast when it works tho.
@@rylanchampion5972 If you wanna be flavorful, Fear of Surveillance will work in that regard. Patched Plaything could also work, since it's a good reanimation target (especially for Recommission, considering it's got double strike)

You could also run more self mill or card draw to get to the eye and haughty djinn faster.

Nah, the Oculus ends up feeding instants and sorceries to the djinn, so it evens out.
I have no idea wtf you thought when making a two turn win deck in standard. What's the point of playing even. So many better games out there
