I'm an incoming member of CC 2024, and have been relying on your videos recently to get an inside look at Columbia life (since Days on Campus were canceled this year). They have been SO HELPFUL. I'm also intending premed and am very, very interested in the Medicine, Literature, & Society (MLS) major. Could you tell me more about it (in terms of major expectations, the faculty members, how it complements being a premed) and/or make a video on it? That would be super appreciated!

I'm actually from Iran and to be honest I'm soooo confused about S.A.T and C.A.T I can't find any helpful scours about how many times you should take the exam or is it possible to be online and also what grade is acceptable for Columbia. it would be amazing if you could make a video about everything about S.AT, C.A.T and generally how American universities work🥺❤️🙏🏻 please help me and I promise you'll see me on campus as the class of 2035😎

Hi Caroline, I really like the core but I have almost being a more STEM focused student. Although I also like to read, I honestly take a month to finish a not so big book. Do you think Columbia could be a good fit for me or not? Do STEM students have trouble with the Core readings?
Hi Catarina! I definitely understand how you're feeling! 😊 I'm not a super fast reader myself so I had the same concerns coming into college 🥰 BUT I do think that it's manageable for STEM students! I feel like once you get into the hang of things, reading will become much easier :) And as you gain more experience with different types of texts, you'll learn to navigate them more efficiently and effectively 💕 Hope this helps!
