@basic user bruh, the death note didn't work of they didn't write Near's name there, and that time Mikami, Takada and Light didn't know Near's true name yet so that person only kill him self and happen to point at Near before he death thats all
For myself i alway loved near, Then i read the manga and i realised that the main problem with Near is that the anime messed up the pacing and only gave him 10 episodes whereas is was in half of the manga and that meant he had more time to be fleshed out and more distinguished from L. Near wasn't the problem, the pacing of the show was
To the children at Wammy's House, L was their idol and inspiration. They strived to be like him, and thus imitated his actions in order to become more like him. Near, L's successor, was similar to L because he spent his life competing to become the next L. He's not a wannabe, I think he's just trying to behave more like his mentor... the person he admires. :) I don't know, that's just my take on it. xD
You're right. In manga.near told that he look upto L and onlt person whose footsteps want to follow. And after catching kira. Near started working like L. Near idealised L and respected him most
Just imagine it, being in a room with your investigation team one moment, and the next, all of their corpses scattered around the establishment like dead flies, and even being stained with the blood of one of your teammates who made an attempt to protect you from another member of your team. Near was most definitely rattled and alarmed in this scene, and calling Kira right after the incident is like Near saying "I know for certain that you're the director behind this nefarious and depraved act, you evil serpent. How dare you perform such facade?" With Light tauntingly questioning N, saying "What's the natter, Near..?" this only fueled the fire, making the wrath to soon be unleashed upon Light grow in penalizing retribution.
The thing that always kept me on the edge of my seat is L and Near knew intuitively maybe in their hearts that Light was Kira. There never seemed to be any doubt. The game came in proof. The murder weapon is nearly untraceable and the wielder commands a certain amount of respect and fear in their carefulness. But the greatest detective and his sucessor also knew Light was just a boy and then a man. L may have lost sight of that, needing Kira as a worthy rival and possibly friend. Near had no such clouding of judgement and was able to see Kira for who he is while collecting the proof he needed to corner Light. The chase is always more fun then the conclusion though.
Mikami may have had the slash pen technique, but it only ticked Near off even more, I hope that plan wasn't suppose to scar Near for life cause that CLEARLY failed.
Damn Near does look pissed O_O but he is still Kawaii ^-^ but damn Mikami your MORE dramitic than Light imagaY i read the manga and some of the original Anime but i think im gonna watch the Relights instead..... ok i dont reconize the woman who is seeming to be helping Mikami
Throughout the whole anime, Light was really my favorite but I knew in the end that he had to die 'cause he was just being too confidant after killing the real L and he was really really out of control. The power got the best of him
Near has a photographic memory, and sat watching all the 'Kira's Kingdoms' with a hundred different screens at once, meaning he was able to find Mikami for two important and completely logical reasons. 1: Mikami was one of the few who came on Kira's Kingdom more than once, and was therefore the most likely to have a connection with Takeda. 2: Mikami was intelligent and idolised Kira, most other people on that show were blind Kira-worshippers, thus, who else could Kira share his power with?
It seems Mikami tried to get one of the SPK members to shoot Near when he was being controlled by the Death Note Of course this wouldn’t work, because without Near’s name in the Death Note he cannot be killed by the actions of someone that was killed Seems Mikami didn’t read the rules...
Maddy Gamer ok, at that point when I made the comment, I hadn't watched after Ls death, I was just on youtube looking up spoilers. yes, now I know that they told him too, but I still dislike that he used Ls symbol, its still a fact that that happened, yes there is an explanation, but still, its a fact. and also your comment kinda pisses me off, a fan isn't someone who knows EVERYTHING, did I even say I was a fan? you cant call someone a fake fan just because they don't know as much as you, that comment just goes to show how immature you are (and yes, im being immature replying to your comment). but I am a death note fan (now I said it) and I love the show and I may not know everything about it but I enjoy it a lot. but thank you for your opinion ^_^
budgie0003 the fake fan remark was a joke. I know not all fans know everything for instance I have no idea whatsoever about the BB los angelos murder case so I apologise for coming off rude. :)
No the victim didn't know L's real name or face so it would be impossible for a victim to kill L. Maybe if he made someone on the task force do it before they kill themself it something but that would only make him more suspicious because L and the other died after meeting Light.
Except Light could have sent someone to where he knew where L was, and he could find out by tracking his dad. And if he needed to write his real name in the book that wouldn't make sense because Near almost got shot and Light didn't know his name was Nate River. Clearly YOU are not very smart.
TheSilentStorm Well, there's the "If I die, you die with me" thing. Besides, Light didn't want to kill L, he wanted to kill Rem. If he had killed L before he was under custody, then he'd be Kira as L stated. If he were to try to kill him afterwards, the handcuffs would've proven it rather hard for them to separate. And if he wanted to kill him afterwards... well, he initially planned Misa to kill him once she got her memory back, but then it worked out for him. It's explained better in the Manga how Rem and Light think just before L dies, unlike in the anime where he just smirks.
***** Light couldn't do that, you can't write someones name in the Death Note and make them kill someone else, if you write that, I think they just die of a heart attack.
My fave characters were L and Light, I could never decide whos side I was on. Near irritated me when he called L a loser in his first scene but what really annoyed me was how he guessed that Mikami was the one doing Lights bidding. Seriously, complete guess. I think if Near deducted it somehow with logic and reason like L I would have liked him more.
saffysaffyrocks Both he and Melo looked up to L, they both studied and were tried under him. It's hard to think that Near even thought of L during such a statement. Which episode was that because I don't remember reading that in the manga? If it is, around what chapter?
Near did not directly call L a loser- "If you can't win the game, if you can't solve the puzzle, then you're just a loser." Those were his words. However, L solved the puzzle in that he was able to figure out that Light was Kira in the end- but Near had no way of knowing this. This was in the episode after L's death which is titled "Silence."
InfiniteMortal I know :) And because Near had no way of knowing that L had solved the puzzle (so to speak) he would have been calling L a loser for not finding Kira and evidence to prosecute him.
What's the reason they made the Relight? Are they just alternate endings? You said they were for audiences who hadn't seen the original, so is it just a separate series with the same characters?
I'm not entirely sure why they made it really. I guess it's mostly just to retell the story in a different way. It's not a series, just like a movie version, comprised of mostly the scenes straight from the anime
ITS 2 movies its a lot faster then the series each "movie" is around 1 and a half hour (I think) so its a lot shorter then the anime there are Some extra scenes but thats it

Same he gets too much hate
Yeah, I like him. Hes like a mini L.
Light: what's the matter?
Near: you got blood in my shirt and hair..... Prepare to die!
Thank Goodness Near is still alive! I don't want him to die just like L did. :(
Well I'm glad that there are some people who like me

YES
@basic user bruh, the death note didn't work of they didn't write Near's name there, and that time Mikami, Takada and Light didn't know Near's true name yet so that person only kill him self and happen to point at Near before he death thats all
@basic user sorry for my bad English :)
@@PinkyChibi what episode is this?
For myself i alway loved near, Then i read the manga and i realised that the main problem with Near is that the anime messed up the pacing and only gave him 10 episodes whereas is was in half of the manga and that meant he had more time to be fleshed out and more distinguished from L. Near wasn't the problem, the pacing of the show was
0:059 Behold! Near's gorgeous eyes o_O
Keiko Igarashi
That's exactly what I was thinking😂
Remembers me of mikas eyes
B e h o l d ! ! The most beautiful soulless eyes u will ever see.

This is about the closest time I see Near be so mad. In like, you know, THE WHOLE FRICKING ANIME!!
I don't know, that's just my take on it. xD
You're right. In manga.near told that he look upto L and onlt person whose footsteps want to follow. And after catching kira. Near started working like L. Near idealised L and respected him most
just so you know guys...that's how I write my papers lol
Just imagine it, being in a room with your investigation team one moment, and the next, all of their corpses scattered around the establishment like dead flies, and even being stained with the blood of one of your teammates who made an attempt to protect you from another member of your team.
Near was most definitely rattled and alarmed in this scene, and calling Kira right after the incident is like Near saying "I know for certain that you're the director behind this nefarious and depraved act, you evil serpent. How dare you perform such facade?"
With Light tauntingly questioning N, saying "What's the natter, Near..?" this only fueled the fire, making the wrath to soon be unleashed upon Light grow in penalizing retribution.
Mello already killed some of his guys earlier as well, so he was used to it in a way
I...really think Near knew it was Light at this very moment. He just had to prove it
Damn Near does look pissed O_O but he is still Kawaii ^-^
but damn Mikami your MORE dramitic than Light imagaY
i read the manga and some of the original Anime but i think im gonna watch the Relights instead.....
ok i dont reconize the woman who is seeming to be helping Mikami
That's Takada-san. She's the one Matt and I took. Remember?
Mello Keehl Lol
Yeah. Fucking bitch killed me.
yeah i remember its sad
i hate her
Me too.
Near is so creepy but i still love him
Throughout the whole anime, Light was really my favorite but I knew in the end that he had to die 'cause he was just being too confidant after killing the real L and he was really really out of control. The power got the best of him
And thus near went to the laundromat
Near is pissed.
Near is pretty hot.
Just sayin'
Labyirnth II agreed

@@rajagopal9836 Near is 17-18
If I was any of Nears associates around him, I would put a small fibulator device on my heart than would instantly revive me after a heartattack.
Death note is magical though.
Me:Damn he is pissed..
Near:..wouldn't you be?
Me: Ehh...I'd be depressed
Mikami kills people with his pen in his own style
Light: Bitch this isn't demon slayer
Near has a photographic memory, and sat watching all the 'Kira's Kingdoms' with a hundred different screens at once, meaning he was able to find Mikami for two important and completely logical reasons. 1: Mikami was one of the few who came on Kira's Kingdom more than once, and was therefore the most likely to have a connection with Takeda. 2: Mikami was intelligent and idolised Kira, most other people on that show were blind Kira-worshippers, thus, who else could Kira share his power with?
I just love how he's sitting there watching people drop dead lol
I just realized that "What's the matter Near?" was too suspicious lmao.
It seems Mikami tried to get one of the SPK members to shoot Near when he was being controlled by the Death Note
Of course this wouldn’t work, because without Near’s name in the Death Note he cannot be killed by the actions of someone that was killed
Seems Mikami didn’t read the rules...
He wrote kill everyone in the room before you die
@@novanox9632
Not how it works. The rules clearly state in order for someone to die, their name MUST be written in there
Near looks like he's ready to falcon punch Light
Light was like "you mad bro?"
LIGHT STOLE THE L SYMBOL! OH I HATE HIM SOOOO MUCH MORE NOW IF THATS EVEN POSSIBLE!
+budgie0003 Have you even watched the whole Death Note series?
+HoldOnUntilTomorrow yes, and the live action movies and the relight movies
HE DIDNT STEAL L's SIGN GO REWATCH DEATH NOTE THEY TOLD LIGHT TO BE L CAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT THE PUBLIC TO KNOW HE WAS DEAD GOD! #fakefan
Light could've won if he doesn't have an ego.
0:48 Holy shit, Light could have defeated L so much quicker if he just had one of his victims kill him first before dying.
No the victim didn't know L's real name or face so it would be impossible for a victim to kill L. Maybe if he made someone on the task force do it before they kill themself it something but that would only make him more suspicious because L and the other died after meeting Light.
***** At first I didn't see your comment. My bad.
When light is writing in the book when he is done I swear he says YEET! 0:45
I love it when Mikami keeps saying 'DELETE'
DELETE.
DELETE
DELETE
You know, Mikami could've just ordered all the SPK members to open fire on Near before they die.
I see where Matt and Jeff Hardy got their 'DELETE' shit from.
Light: Did something happen?
Near: Bitch... you know damn well what happened! >=(
My fave characters were L and Light, I could never decide whos side I was on. Near irritated me when he called L a loser in his first scene but what really annoyed me was how he guessed that Mikami was the one doing Lights bidding. Seriously, complete guess. I think if Near deducted it somehow with logic and reason like L I would have liked him more.
He called L a loser? That's bullshit
Rogue Pylon He said "If you can't win the game, you're nothing but a loser," implying that L was a loser because he had lost to Light.
saffysaffyrocks Both he and Melo looked up to L, they both studied and were tried under him.
ITS 2 movies its a lot faster then the series each "movie" is around 1 and a half hour (I think) so its a lot shorter then the anime there are Some extra scenes but thats it
Near is pissed in almost every scene 😭
Damn I love near in this scene 1:40

Near giving Light the silent treatment was his way of saying "You know good and goddamn well what the matter is, Kira. Now it's personal."
