I like the back suspenion style and i like the steering link in the front that is above the axle so you will not hang up in obstacles. The car has flex , i can't understand why people may don't like this style of suspension. This car has settings that other more expensive don't have. Don't complain guys , the model is very nice balanced. Front motor position also , what else do you want in this price . There are some other crawlers that cost a bit more than 400 dollars and they don't have the steering link above the axle and tbey don't have this style of suspention. It's fine model i like it for real.
Yes, so much to like about this truck! But it doesn't have a 'Traxxas' name and price tag!

RGT is the factory. If i rmbr well, 80% of their business is OEM to other big brands like horizon hobby

Ftx outlaw ftx zorro, am surprised that most rc TH-cam channels are not reviewing these rc off vehicles i have a zorro and outlaw i brought brushed versions but upgraded them to brushless they and very strong the only thing though is the brushed motors in my view are not good but apart from that am loving em,lol , ian
Have one myself got it all n grey love it but had to fiddle with the lights as they were not put in correctly but all good know great truck indeed, defo recommend for the price
Regarding branding, FTX is a brand owned by CMl Distribution in the UK, most of their car range comes from HSP and River Hobby, who will rebrand their products with your own name if you buy enough of them. The RGT brand is owned by High Speed Hobby Co, who sell most of their budget cars under their HSP brand. This crawler is manufactured by HSP, HSP then use the RGT brand to sell their crawlers separate from their main brands.
I review for CML... they've got a good Brand with the FTX. Yes, I though RGT/HSP might be the OEM supplier

Any plans to review the MST crawlers? Would really like to see a comparison with this - similar styling but MST comes with portals

FTX/CML import them in to the UK and rebrand. I think that’s what multiple companies do.. the OEM is HSP I believe

CV break first ride ,now put some TRX4 Axels under and it crawls like a dream.
12:19 that's how I broke my front left half shaft. Tangled along my wheel and the torque of the motor snapped the metal axle in half. Never again...

Not much difference in price really.
the ftx one looks smaller than the rgt one. i am a big rgt fan, owning 5 of them, although one is in a millions pieces right now getting a full overhaul
Hi has anyone had issues with the lights, my headlamps seem to stay on all the time but channel 4 switch is meant to change the operation and when turning left the steering has to be almost at maximum lock before indicating light comes on??
Loving the look of this lil thing. Tempted. It would look really sweet with a weathered/ rusty paint scheme on the cab. Rat rod look

They're both great looking trucks, but I prefer the red over the mango orange!! Does it really need a panhard bar with 4 link suspension? I thought you only had those when you had 2 links, and the panhard rod made the 3rd? Great video, again. 👍🏻
I took one of the links out of the RGT... doesn't need 4... and actually reduces the amount of droop on one side
Plenty of flex from the cantilever rear suspension, nice.
Is the FTX ravine waterproof? If yes I will get it, if not I will buy a more expensive crawler such as redcat gen 8.
It floats on water... and is water proof
What do you think is better? FTX GEO or FTX Texan?

HI Mate, I'm pretty novice with all the tech stuff haha, could i ask your advice on this RC. They seem pretty noisy when running, I've re greased everything i can think of and am no thinking its the whine on the motor, any advice on how to quiet it down or is it a case of swapping the motor out. Thanks mate
I think they are just noisy, different motor nay be the case, as I can't imagine it's the gears making all the noise
Pretty decent little rig there! I never understood why they make the turn signals blink. NO one ever uses their turn signals like that when they are crawling. It would be cool if they had a mode where all the lights just stayed ON and another so turn signals worked when you were stopped or going slow with wheels turned. Would be cool for realism and role playing!
Yeah, the turn signals can be quite annoying... not very scale really
I like those cantilever shocks a lot. Very cool design.

GT85 is my goto for the motorbike too. The decent nozzle produces a fine mist so it's easier to apply than ACF50. It's also a fraction of the price. It's compatible with plastics and rubber. The ptfe in it helps moisture dispersion too. Just be careful not to get it on brake discs as I did. First ride after winter and on first brake application I nearly went straight on at a junction 😂. That wss fun. Character building as they say 😉😂

✌🏻😎🏴damn it tomley. Country music sucks but I guess that truck isn’t very “hip hop” is it 😂. Love the candy red. It’s definitely the best colour. I use GT85 instead of wd40 too. When it comes to plastics & rubbers Its way better for rc’s than wd40 👍🏻
Yeah, I use GT85 as well... smells better as well as works better (not sure if i said WD40 in the video?). Hiphop was not really the right choice haha

Love the Outback Steak house .... Blooming Onions are pretty special :). It comes under the RGT Brand in many places. FTX Outback is the UK/Europe brand

Thanks for introducing me to a whole new brand of RC. I took a look at their homepage and they have some pretty cool looking rigs. Im always on the look out for new brands.
