We all know about the songs in this game. 'Nemesis' can be heard by getting closer to your Nemesis (red helmet icon), '1st or 2nd place' can be heard when you're in either 1st or 2nd place, as the song variant says), another variant can be heard when you're getting closer to the finish line, and 'more speed' can be heard when your vehicle reaches higher speeds, but the guitar (Ian Livingstone songs only) is heard when it's the final lap. How exactly can you hear Chris Jojo's guitar on the final lap nowadays? I don't hear it when I'm playing this game.
Mind you I think even the race music is dynamic again (haven't started the game yet), I've seen versions of this without the choir (they always seem to sing for the GRID 2 leitmotif though). The techno sort of layer in the background also, is that another 'activates in first place' thing?

Grid's soundtracks are the best
soundtrack wise, Grid is just a car version of Ace Combat
they even got the part where the road/sky starts speaking latin when the bossfight happens

I just listened for a bit longer (probably should have waited), yeah it seems dynamic again, good
