The season finale series consists of 5 maps. First map is Paris, Arc De Triomphe. Second map is Miami, Collins Park Ring. Third race is Dubai, Jumeirah Beach. Fourth race is Barcelona, Marine Gate and the final race is Chicago, The Loop. - เกม

@Arnav Bhatt actually, it's digging your own grave in this game. The radius is narrow and ended spun out even for countersteering. I've done many times.
the ai is dead tho.... but i still love this game

she plays on Very Hard Difficulty. As for controlling the car, that's a matter of practise (especially if you're on keyboard like her).

in NFS drift to win feels loose and sloppy, but grid 2 had the best drift to win style racing because the cars felt weighed down.

I want to record season 5 on career in high quality but once I upload the video on youtube it's blurry on starts and high motion moments.. I use OBS, I have tried so many different settings but even the best ones dont work (1080p, 60 fps, lanczos 32 samples, 120 Mbps bitrate, encoder nvenc H.264, just so you have an idea)
Hi, I use Nvidia Shadowplay. Also what you are describing is youtube compression.

Searching on wiki, nvidia shadowplay encodes at 130Mbit/s lol I'll try some more on obs, otherwise I'll use shadowplay, thanks for the reply!

Its amazing how great this game looks.... Almost as amazing as the fack that this was the most annoying racing game i ever played.
I loved to play games cos they were super fun and relaxing. This game was neither. But once i started i had to complete it.
Agreed completely. This game was too much fun, but boy, was it stressful sometimes. Controlling the drift can be such a pain in the ass sometimes, but holy shit, how awesome it feels to overtake someone on the outside line while drifting through a corner. A feeling no other racing game was ever capable of giving me. That's the main reason I love Grid 2 (also because it was one of the few racing games designed especially to run on laptops with Intel HD Graphics like mine, lmao. Thank you Codemasters for thinking about us low spec gamers!)

Initially despised the game and swore countless times at how punishing the handling was, but it clicked one day and it was joyous. It still slaps you in the face with a wet fish if you're not concentrating, but do that and it's joyous.
Flying around a corner, getting into mini-wars with AI and having to look ahead for the corners that change taught me how to focus on the race and, more importantly, car control on one way or another.
Typing this, I miss playing it quite a lot. Must find it soon.

why i can't race using tier 4 cars? i have to play the last race using tier 3 ones, despite having dlc tier 4 cars (pirated game btw :)
Progression maybe? Idk, Tier 3 cars are locked to Season 4 and Tier 4 cars to Season 5, from what I remember. If it isn't that, then probably some sort of anti-piracy measure to make sure you can't beat the game with a pirated copy.

Bruh, could you please make a tutorial on how to drift perfectly in this game? I always spin-out and I think I've got the very basics of it all wrong.
Play manual, make sure you're in 2nd or 3rd gear and you've scrubbed enough speed off before the corner. Tap the brake and steer into the corner and then accelerate. Once the car is in a drift, steer in the opposite direction to keep the car from spinning out. Balance the throttle and brakes if need be. Practise and you'll get the hang of it.
You don't have to play manual, but I find it's a lot better to. If you're playing auto, you just need to scrub enough speed then follow the steps above.
For Tier 4 cars, you need to learn "machine gun shift".

GRID 2 looks good, but it's hard to play, at high speed the cars derail too easily in all parts, only on the route they don't stay, in GRID Sesion 3 it works perfectly
Takes practice, you can't pick it up and win everything immediately. It's incredibly satisfying once you do that.
Consider the game more of an arcade and try to learn to power slide through corners properly (as you see in this vid), the handling is VERY punishing but also really satisfying once you managed to pull it off

Part of what makes it so fun, plus it becomes more predictable with practise. Except for a few cars.
