very cool
i saw movie and i was awed. i thought it would suck at first, but this year, after moving on from comics, you should see my excitement. they got so much right for villain including big stuff i remembered from comics. he was a beast in this film. while thanos had to sit on his pathetic meteor chair, apocalypse did better and showed his true near infinite might.
He should absorbing Jean Grey's power first
After that he will be more powerful than MCU thanos, and when the Dark Phoenix force come he will easily absorb it too..
@Scourge the Hedgehog that lady from Dark Phoenix is just an alien species which can absorb power. In other hand, Apocalypse is a primordial mutant, capable of taking other mutants' power. In this case, Jean as we know has the telekinesis power which's could handled the power of the Phoenix Force even though it's still unstable. But we know at the end she could masters it in the comics. So if Apocalypse take her power, he will be capable to handles the Phoenix Force and mastered it by progress(or maybe perished if he failed)..
@@HazDev56 Honestly, En Sabah Nur could have been better off as a rare mutant (or, even more terrifying, the prototype of Celestial origin; blending the Eternal's durability and the Deviant's malleability) whose versatile mastery over his own molecules is complimented by "Survival of the Fittest".
Awesome music for a great villain even though he could have been presented a bit better in the movie while making more impact simultaneously.

u mean Apocalyse where he was in Xavier's dimension to his size from there to fight him, i dont think so, Thanos might have used the reality and the soul stone to get out from Xavier's mind.
I think he is a really underrated villian

Apocalypse has the noble goal to evolve humanity to its best, giving everyone the X-Gene. Thanos is a fool who wants to destroy everyone, to save the enviroment - he is no different than those at the World Economic Forum, UN, NATO, the NWO itself, organizations that do this everyday and can't be punished for their sins, since they are the laws that we're forced to obey.
Isn't Apocalypse theme and Ares Theme from Wonder Woman pretty much like?

I have to ask. How he is weaker than Jean if he is First mutant?
Because he doesnt have the Phoenix Force in him, Phoenix Force is one of the most powerful cosmic entities in the universe.
It enhances a mutant's abilities, in the case of Jean Grey, it amplified her Telekinetic powers being able to manipulate matter to subatomic level, not just lifting things by her telekinesis. It also amplified her Telepathy, she was able to defeat Prof X in a telepathic battle.
Since Phoenix Force granted her 'subatomic manipulation of matter', she is virtually immortal, by rearranging her bodily atoms when shes wounded, 'healing' her, kinda same like Wolverine's Rapid Healing, but Wolverine's is involuntary, Jean Grey's is 'Concious', she needs to telekinetically manipulate her body atoms to patch her wound.

@@DarsiPadilla it would depend on the amount of genes they absorbed and their owners. I know that Apocalypse is a beast and it took the combine effort of Phoenix empowered Jean Grey, Magneto, Storm and Cyclops to put him down. We've seen in the end of DotFP that the Sentinels were able to kill even the mutants like Storm, Blink, Magneto, Cyclops, Bishop, Sunspot, Iceman and the list goes on, so I think it's not strange to assume that the Sentinels have a chance to obliterate Apocalypse.

I'll admit, the movie adaptations have gone from alright or sufficient to just lacking because of higher ups; and that includes the wasted depiction of En Sabah Nur. If En Sabah Nur were to fight a horde of Sentinels, he would phase himself into the machines, and convert their power to his favor.
I feel like this movie got way too much hate, you could say it was ahead of its time. IMO best x men movie (Excluding logan or deadpool)
