A maiden voyage with a flipping ending. It was goin great for a while. Always entertaining. Runs smooth though. Look forward to the big gas version build coming up. Going to be cool for sure. Uncle Twisted over out!!!! Lol!!!!!
Thank's bro, well worth the wait! Too bad about the battery, but I'm thinking the fun was worth it. I've been building free flight and rc airplanes since the late 80's, so I pretty much have the building skills for any of these boats. What I need to learn is hardware setup, overall balancing and water dynamics. Can't wait to get started!
Good video-you do some great build videos with good explanations on this channel, but I have to disagree with some of your glueing statements, but that's okay. I was very impressed how this boat ran into the wind. If you watch the slo-mo of the crash, the front of the boat lifted a bit too much and then the prop came out of the water and this shifted the C.G. drastically forward causing the boat to nose in. But it did survive okay. Good job.
Is the under side front part of canopy open to water ? couldnt see , if so would fill that with 3mm ply to act as extra lift in fast corners and stop waves unsettling the boat.
