I received my Heartstopper today , very happy , i'm amazed its beutifull , even for the weight it feels good in the hand , Dietmer Pohl did a nice Job there. and its cool that he was a Rambo Fan since Rambo 1 and had the chance too design the last Rambo Knife.
For the price point of this knife, the options of quality, reliable, better made knives out there are pretty much endless. This is probably something that should be displayed in a man cave if you are a fan of Rambo. You could literally buy a Tops silent hero for that same price which is a knife that also looks cool, but that you depend on with your life. The esee junglas is only like 20 dollars more than this knife in which the junglas is a proven tool with a lifetime warranty and comes with the best kydex sheath I have ever seen.

Came Back Again having a Rambo night got my part 2 and last blood knives out checking the curves on the mk9 considering blade quality I've never had to sharpen mine it's better quality than people think,, and a complicated blade to grind out let's face it, technical skills way beyond newbie to make this Blade Properly.!! @@DonnieBAllDay I've noticed after a Rambo movie, knife trends lean towards variations if Not straight out replicas of the movie knives, and the last bloods knives are pretty much the Best Quality HCG have put out for the First Blood series. I think the Greener handles on the HCG/Mk9 are in dedication to the Original first Blood movie knife which had the Green handles.. But yeah I see grinds nearly exact same as mk8 and mk9 in Various knife designs and Especially the Scales Are Now All ground out textured micarta with 2 union bolts. From Australia Brother👍🗡️⭐

The custom one I'm getting is direct from Dietmar Pohl the Man himself emailed me back 10 days ago, and I'm in line to get one of the 30 or so he's going to make end of 2020. My mk9 is number 969 ,, the people I've shown are gobsmacked at the Quality But in Australia they can go for $450 I was lucky I got it at $280 and about to offer another 280 to secure another one, Beautiful Blade and I'm now designing my own blades with some unique designs. For a custom set your best bet is to get some blanks and have someone customize them for you. I'm not sure if anyones doing aftermarkets yet. Might be coming though

what are the differences between this one and the one from Pohl Force? I know that the latter one has tactical sheath (not leather) and costs twice as much . It the steel different?
The Pohl has better grips, better steel, better sheath and better tang. This one is far cheaper, easier to sharpen, does the same job. This one works for me.
Hi DBad. Tough knives for movie replicas. Blade HQ website says the handle scales are g10 and the blade thickness is .23" . They have held up to your test well. I'm really intrigued by this Niolox steel , it's part of the Niobium alloy steel family . Thanks
I have some fantastic ideals for making some new knives but Mark will have to finish his shop at the farm before I have a place to build them as I'm living in a small RV for now and have no place for power tools grinders a bigger forge and such
I hear you. My knife designs are sold all over the world. If I had better equipment here, I'd be putting out so much more than I am. Partnering with a major brand was the best thing for me for now. My designs get made and sold and I can keep thinking them up.
Prefer the M8 blade style, just not sure about the handles on either one. Sweet First edition. Rambo 1 started it for me when I was a kid in the 80's. 40 years later, still ain't grown up any! Great videos and the way you swinging your blades I'm guessing the shoulder is getting better! Looking forward to your Khukri house designs!
Who cares that the so called film critics say it’s not a good film? I don’t cause the final scene where he cuts out the heart of the murderer of his beloved nice is epic in my mind you see the pain the suffering that the villain brought to him! I had the same impression as you when I grabbed it for the first time a week ago. It is growing on me now too. Scales are still questionable to me on G10. Coming from a Hogue knives fan I think you would understand. Hogue EXF01 is the standard.
I like the look of the 8 better, but the feel of the 9 better. Thats a tough one. If you want a camp style do all blade, the 8. If a pure self defense knife, the 9

Some retailers list this knife at $199.95 as opposed to the standard $249.99. Ive noticed the reviews for these lower priced knives say they have a false edge. Are there two sets of knives, one sharpened and one for display? Or are those knives not from HCG?

Both knives are made of 440 blade steel. I have contacted Hollywood Collectibles directly ( Customer Service : The new blades are 440 Stainless Steel. -----Original Message-----). Because there is no information on their website. I assume that it is 440A.This is a relatively inexpensive stainless steel. For the older knives 420 stainless steel was used. Niolox steel developed and manufactured in Germany was used for the knives by Pohl Force.

I have a good thing going with them, I can say that. Rather than the 10% per blade sold, we have other arrangements. I didn't need the money since I already get paid for the videos and they post my video with every knife. Plus I always get the first one, along with MAJOR discounts on anything of theirs I want. Plus they send me Nepalese goods if I want something.

Well Donnie B the 2nd run of the heartsopper by HCG is up for pre-order. The Budk site has them going for $169.99...$20 bucks less then the 1st run. It has a 7Cr 17 stainless steel blade with top grain leather sheath {not buffalo hide like the 1st run}. It is also to be the only Last Blood knife endosed by Stallone, coming with a certificate stating so. It also looks like they so far are not bringing the M-8 Bowie out for a 2nd run. Yup looks like the 2nd run of the Heartstopper is made cheaper than the 1st run.

This is a whole new Last Blood heartstopper being made by United Cutlery and being sold by the Sly Stallone Shop endorsed by Stallone. Being a UC dealer Budk is also got them for pre-order. Also the sheath has the correct leather leg strap.
Love your vids. Was planning on buying this knife but what I don’t really like is that it’s not true full tang. How much strength is lost by putting that screw/nut thing under the grips compared to full tang? That is the only thing stopping me from hitting BUY. I did order the GH Assault Tactical knife which is true full tang and 5star reviews and I should get it in mail today. What’s your thoughts? Should I return the GH once I get it and put the additional 100 for the heartstopprer? Do you have FB?
Forgot to add that I’m here in TX so I can carry any size knife and I love carrying larger knives daily. So if you recommend the Heartstopper over the GH it would be a EDC knife w occasional heavy hard beating usage
The steel on the Hibben is a 7cr if I remember. The HCG Heartstopper is 420A and beastly strong. I even did a do I still love vid, showing it's continued strength. It really comes down to personal preference, but the edge should hold a bit longer on the HCG.

This is Hollywood Collectibles Group knife. Handle is with wrong color and the sheath is wrong shape and also the sheaths strap is wrong. United Cutlery made 100% accurate copy of The Heartstopper, same as it is in the movie. The sheaths strap is leather belt which goes around Rambos leg. The handle is lighter grey more likely. I have Heartstopper Signature Edition from United Cutlery, and I compared it to what Stallone unboxed, and that is exact copy of The Heartstopper. I had also Hollywood Collectibles Group knife, but I was not happy with it, too many errors.

Its always hard to tell the look from movie lights. One scene it looks subdued. He has a bunch of prop knives for the movie, they aren't all exactly the same. One for close ups, some for action and stills
I also do not understand why the blades were painted grey. Also the guard and the screws. This doesn't look like in the movie. A European knife magazine showed the real used prop knives. These didn't t have a dark grey blade either. I think the color difference is caused by the light on the different surfaces.

pretty garbage how? I have multiple videos going full bore on this blade and it has been great. So if it has done all tasks as you can clearly see here, at what point was it garbage? This didn't break. Is it more feasible that one person got a lemon, or that one person miraculously got the one knife that came out stronger than EVERY other one made? To see this video and leave THAT comment, makes me question the common sense factor.

multiple hard use videos have proven the opposite for me. If you tested the HGC version and had it break... Its more likely that you got a rare bad one over me getting a rare good one. Used as a knife, it'll last forever

Definitely a cool knife. The version you got isn't made to take the beating the others are, so treat it nice.

The movie knife had tan scales. The measurements are all the same though. This one has some pretty good steel though

Never been a subhilt fan but its pretty comfortable. Found out its a much better steel than thought

Hogue makes 'em right but I'll match this steel with just about anything.

Some retailers list this knife at $199.95 as opposed to the standard $249.99. Ive noticed the reviews for these lower priced knives say they have a false edge. Are there two sets of knives, one sharpened and one for display? Or are those knives not from HCG?

Both knives are made of 440 blade steel. I have contacted Hollywood Collectibles directly ( Customer Service : The new blades are 440 Stainless Steel. -----Original Message-----). Because there is no information on their website. I assume that it is 440A.This is a relatively inexpensive stainless steel. For the older knives 420 stainless steel was used. Niolox steel developed and manufactured in Germany was used for the knives by Pohl Force.

I have a good thing going with them, I can say that. Rather than the 10% per blade sold, we have other arrangements. I didn't need the money since I already get paid for the videos and they post my video with every knife. Plus I always get the first one, along with MAJOR discounts on anything of theirs I want. Plus they send me Nepalese goods if I want something.

Well Donnie B the 2nd run of the heartsopper by HCG is up for pre-order. The Budk site has them going for $169.99...$20 bucks less then the 1st run. It has a 7Cr 17 stainless steel blade with top grain leather sheath {not buffalo hide like the 1st run}. It is also to be the only Last Blood knife endosed by Stallone, coming with a certificate stating so. It also looks like they so far are not bringing the M-8 Bowie out for a 2nd run. Yup looks like the 2nd run of the Heartstopper is made cheaper than the 1st run.

This is a whole new Last Blood heartstopper being made by United Cutlery and being sold by the Sly Stallone Shop endorsed by Stallone. Being a UC dealer Budk is also got them for pre-order. Also the sheath has the correct leather leg strap.

Love your vids. Was planning on buying this knife but what I don’t really like is that it’s not true full tang. How much strength is lost by putting that screw/nut thing under the grips compared to full tang? That is the only thing stopping me from hitting BUY. I did order the GH Assault Tactical knife which is true full tang and 5star reviews and I should get it in mail today. What’s your thoughts? Should I return the GH once I get it and put the additional 100 for the heartstopprer? Do you have FB?
Forgot to add that I’m here in TX so I can carry any size knife and I love carrying larger knives daily. So if you recommend the Heartstopper over the GH it would be a EDC knife w occasional heavy hard beating usage
The steel on the Hibben is a 7cr if I remember. The HCG Heartstopper is 420A and beastly strong. I even did a do I still love vid, showing it's continued strength. It really comes down to personal preference, but the edge should hold a bit longer on the HCG.

This is Hollywood Collectibles Group knife. Handle is with wrong color and the sheath is wrong shape and also the sheaths strap is wrong. United Cutlery made 100% accurate copy of The Heartstopper, same as it is in the movie. The sheaths strap is leather belt which goes around Rambos leg. The handle is lighter grey more likely. I have Heartstopper Signature Edition from United Cutlery, and I compared it to what Stallone unboxed, and that is exact copy of The Heartstopper. I had also Hollywood Collectibles Group knife, but I was not happy with it, too many errors.
Yes. The difference is that this one is far superior as a knife. The UC looks right but the steel is fragile

Its always hard to tell the look from movie lights. One scene it looks subdued. He has a bunch of prop knives for the movie, they aren't all exactly the same. One for close ups, some for action and stills
I also do not understand why the blades were painted grey. Also the guard and the screws. This doesn't look like in the movie. A European knife magazine showed the real used prop knives. These didn't t have a dark grey blade either. I think the color difference is caused by the light on the different surfaces.

Dutch Bushcraft Survival tested this knife and it was broken within the first 5 minutes of very fair and very lenient testing. It’s pretty garbage.

This didn't break. Is it more feasible that one person got a lemon, or that one person miraculously got the one knife that came out stronger than EVERY other one made? multiple hard use videos have proven the opposite for me. If you tested the HGC version and had it break... Its more likely that you got a rare bad one over me getting a rare good one. Used as a knife, it'll last forever
