My cousin from Tempe used to come visit us in Albuquerque and she would say, "Eeewwww!!!! It's so dusty here! It's gonna ruin my hair!" I live in Arizona now and let me tell you: AZ is way f*ckin' dustier than NM. They have these giant haboob sandstorms over here in monsoon season that just blanket everything with a fine layer of sand. It gets in your eyes and lungs. And you're all sweaty cause it's hot as boobs in AZ. So you end up a sticky, muddy mess.
usually from oxygen deprivation and dehydration. ALBQ is a Mile High Desert. LOL the rels from the east would always be down for the count by cocktails. LOL
I"m from Pueblo Colorado but I've lived in Southern California for a long time now. When I moved here I was excited at the idea of "real Mexican food" and I'll never forget how grossed out I was at the idea of fish tacos and the "chile verde" made with tomatillos...... There is nothing like New Mexico/Southern Colorado food. But fish tacos are alright ....if that's all you've got LOL
I grew up at Juan Tabo and Montgomery, our dining room had that view, every sunset every day with the mountains right behind you. this kinda crushed me inside, I got a tear well up because they ARE that beautiful. like no other Anywhere on the Planet.
I just recently moved away from New Mexico. It wasn't my choice or anything, it was because of my dad's job. But I'm so gonna miss that place. I had made all my best and closest friends there, and though it was pretty much ALL desert and extremely hot, the sunsets were so beautiful, and the evenings were just the best time to relax. That place truly felt like home, and I'm so sad to have to leave it.
Best views where there's no one is amazing. I'm part Navajo and my family from Arizona live in the middle of nowhere and I would always go outside on the hill and just watch the sunset.
The sunset was cool. When I lived there, they were often really nice. Not as nice as Nebraska, but nice. Chile is on lots of things because you can’t taste anything without it. Once I moved away, I noticed that even spicy stuff wasn’t really flavorful like when red Chile Chimayo was added.
New Mexicans do not like out of towners, but love the money they bring! Kind of a cliquish kind of people and not so sure they are that friendly, unless you are paying or buying. Is that the feeling you get?
well, maybe it's because people don't know New Mexico exists or even realizes it's part of the U.S. so you are kind of isolated and don't always get outsiders so you just kind of stick to your own lol.

The ending was the best part, it's so true, everyone gets awed, and speechless at the end of the day.

So true at the end. I remember climbing up the roof of my house in Rio Rancho with my brother to watch the sunset... it's quite memorizing.

Went from laughing at her to seriously crying at her reaction to the sunset. AMAZING!
Best views are where there are no humans. Especially in new mexico

Almost brought me to tears. That's how I felt when I first saw NM
I spent 2 weeks at Philmont in middle school. I still think about it all the time.
Beautiful ending. I was waiting for her to shut up that whole time.
1:32 was that a coyote or just dog? 😂 it was so quick I couldn’t hear it all that good.
Why I love az these sunsets is bomb

New Mexico thinks its the only state that gets sunsets
All the world gets sunsets, I live in NM and I'm not easily impressed until I see the Sandias right at sunset. They turn RED!
lol
Love my home but hate the crime and murder
@1:43 I dont get it, what are they looking for?
I think an American state having the name "new MEXICO" is a bad idea lol. I'm Mexican.
David Fernandez Belden well the Spanish named it new Mexico, America didn't. So it really isn't our fault
@@boldtext9533 the spanish called new all northem
Examples New leon, New california new vizcaya new santander.
Ellos carecian de ideas.

Why don't you change your name? Your not new & you are not Mexico...so. Regardless no thanks.
its all good we try to keep the level of people with sticks up their asses here down to a minimum anyway.
LOVE IT! except Albuquerque has like 200 Starbucks 😂😂
Farmington has like 3, and one is in target.
