Thanks for sharing . Great set up .How does the flow rate of the new pump compare to the Companion OME pump? Could we some info on the “new” pump , ie brand ,cost flow rate etc . Thanks again for all your hard work in creating great content for us .
Had Shad. Good to hear from you mate. I actually had the shower scene up but I uploaded it to the wrong place… I think it was uploaded to some site called p0rnh#b? 😂😂😂
Gidday Rob. What brand of in line pump have you used? And where did you purchase it? Is it a 2 litre per minute pump like the submersible pump that comes with the unit in the box? Mike.
Hey mate, ive got the same 42l water tank and im looking to run the same setup. What water pump are using please? And how has the setup held up over the last year?
Nice setup ⭐️ Was going to do a similar modification to the water supply and plumb it into my onboard tank, but the pump is a 12L/min unit. Will the unit regulate the flow or will I need to put a valve in between the tank and unit to slow the flow ?
hey mate great set up, is the water into the aquaheat direct from your tank’s water without using their supplied pump & have you just tapped the power cables into the power for the seaflo pump. thanks
Great video, thanks for sharing. Just wondering how your shower set up is going now? Have you had any issues using an aftermarket pump with the Companion? Smallest pump I can find online seems to be a 2.4L/min from RTM, although yours looks like the Seaflo 21 series. I've spent so much time and money on a shower set up that doesn't seem suitable so looking at scrapping that and replicating what you've done here. Any advice or tips you can offer are appreciated 😊 Cheers!
The way I use it, I wet myself down. Turn off the shower, then soap up then wash off. That would use around 3 litres. So around 12-14 uses for me. Your experience may vary especially with kids 😊!

Nice one Rob! Cheers Steve
Looks the goods, what is the pump your using, I'm wanting to set up a similar thing for my camper trailer with an 80 ltr acc water tank
How long would that tank of water last you if you were to shower every day with the aquaheat

Hey buddy, great video so with that unit you don't need pump or do you still need a pumpa? thank you heaps.
Good vid. So one year on, how has the whole system held up? I’ve got the same tank. It’s a good looking setup 👌
I love it
Does the companion work without gas or allow for non heated shower also?
Honestly never tried! 😂
What pump did u use? How many Liters per minute?
Would've been good to actually see it work with water in the tank.
Yeah. Just had a request to do a video on it, but when I got out there I remembered I didn't put water in the tank :-) Doh!
@acafwd note to self: next time I plan to do a video, think what the video is going to be about in advance?!😄😄😄
Tidy rig
Cheers Landy!
