Thank you so much for making it simple. So many of us older people just don't know a lot of the basics, and it's nice to have someone to explain it in detail.
Sir, You are a breath of fresh air to a 76 year old, frustrated, long time struggIing 'beginner'. I wanted to express so many things in this message but I didn't want to use the wrong terms so, to be safe, I read the comments. And I immediately realized everything I wanted to convey to you had already been expressed. So by way of the commenters first names, the following spoke my mind precisely: grace h, Joy A, Dorothy, Stephan, streeteats, Ross, Snow, Charlotte, Joy C and the next 17 entries, which were the remaining ones I viewed. Center stage goes to Barrie, Gregory and Charlotte! Thank you, on behalf of myself , and others, especially my fellow discouraged, senior citizens for turning on that big, beautiful, bright spotlight "at the end of the tunnel".
This is clearly your gift. The way you explained step-by-step, so slowly was what I liked best I have never been able to watch videos without changing the speed everyone else talks so fast, and I have to watch the videos over and over along with pausing which causes so much confusion for me with you. I didn’t have to do that . I wish more were like you. You’re a great educator. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
For an 83 year old that has been looking to use a USB I hit the jackpot when I discovered your video. Excellent jog of explaining the process. Great! Thank you. Frank
Hi. Thank you so much for helping a 70 yr old lady to understand and use my 1st flash drive. I love to learn new things and you have made this so easy and clear for me. You are worth your weight in gold. Thanks x
Finally, someone doing a tutorial that doesn't leave out crucial steps in their dialogue or using terms only techies understand. Keep up your great work. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your video I do have a question I think I misses to same it on flash drive I really appreciate if I hear from you thank you very much
Thank you GuruBrew 2. I'm glad there's folks like you willing to teach the rest of us. I followed your instructions, and it worked. I really appreciate you. You are a Godsend.
I'm another old guy that has trouble with Computers; but I'm also a "show me" guy, and if you can show me, I can do it, and with viewing your video, I now think I can. Great video for Beginners, I love TH-cam and all the help it gives us "Wanting to Know" people. Thanks.
Thank you Steve...after trolling around the net,u tube etc looking for some info on installing mem' stick..i just about give up reading and listening on u tube to the biggest load of amateur crap i ever heard in my life and i kid you not....i was about to close down ,and bingo, i found your video....all i can say is brilliant Steve,,i watched the video ,went to the pc and job done in 45 seconds.....well done you ,and very professionally narrated .....Thank you Barrie
Thank you SO much for a clear and complete description of this topic. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the rapid and confusing deliveries we "non-techies" are usually subject to. Thanks again!
Thank you VERY much for disseminating this information slowly and calmly. I have taken MANY computer classes over the years but I still have a problem understanding this stuff. Your teaching style is excellent and very much appreciated.
THANK YOU, GuruBrew. Like a lot of others in the comment section, I appreciate your going slow, not leaving anything out, and giving info that actually precisely matches the configurations of the software that you're talkinig about. (A surprising number of "expert" techs actually give WRONG information.)
Thank you so much for this. I'm 21 but I'm too embarrassed to ask my peers for help because I'm _really_ not tech savvy. I asked my friend what a Mac was once and she just laughed really hard so since then I don't ask tech questions. Thank you so much for this video.
Thanks! Actually I thought I was pretty good with computers and have been using them for decades but to my surprise I learned a few very useful things from this one!! You have a very good ability to describe how computers work!!
Thank you so much~! I've worked on computers, doing several jobs but never learned how to use a flash drive! Your video was very helpful. Now, I don't have to be worried about if my computer ever crashes, and I lose all my documents or pictures! I've got the flash drives, so I'm all set. After watching your video, it took me like 2 minutes to save all the files from my work this year, so that's very, very cool. I had to add to this. I see that others had the same as me, no window popped up, but, a small screeen popped up in the lower corner, that said that there was an external device connnected, I clicked on that, which opened up the window!! Then, it was all the same as what you did!! Thanks again!
Nice job explaining the basics of using a USB flash drive. I liked learning how to select multiple items with holding down the control key and copying them all at once to the flash drive. Thanks for this helpful computer info.
A nice and easy video to follow, I am 77 years old and trying hard to keep up. I have just bought a photo scanner and I am learning to archive the thousands of slides and photographs I have taken over the years. Many thanks
Oh Steve, you are so easy to understand so I've now subscribed. I'm 70 & have no kids or grandkids to help me out when I don't know how to do something on my computer. You are now my official adopted tech-son, okay? Thanks for your patient strait forward how-tos.
I have watched a number of your videos and and I would just like to let you know that I wish everybody would make videos like yours very detailed , short and to the point. Keep up the good work you are appreciated. thanks for helping
Do you think it's worth mentioning that holding the Windows key and pressing the left arrow key will move the active window to the left half of the screen and then selecting the other window you're working with and repeating the Windows key + right arrow will move the second window to the right half of the screen and neatly place them for doing the drag drop operation or indeed the Copy Paste transfer? It's a standard windows 10 shortcut I only found out about a week ago and it's so useful saves all the corner dragging.
Thank you so much for explaining how to use a USB in such a simple to understand way. At the age of 71 it takes longer to do simple tasks but you made it look easy. I know this video is 5 years old but I do hope you feel better and please stay safe. Thank you again from Michael in England 👍🇬🇧❤️😷
I really like your presentation! You approach these tasks with a calm and modulated voice that is as soothing as reassuring. Meanwhile I'm running around like crazy trying to get it all the first time. Thank God for the replay function. Thank you for the time invested.
I agree with Grace. Your explanations are basic but educational. We seniors (my husband and I)appreciate the way you explained this. I sent a question to GuruBrew hope you can answer it for us. I hope that cold is gone too. I know a bit late.
2022 & still watching. I'm cleaning house/computer pics/crap so thanku for simple instructions on this. So very helpful for struggling senior. Hope you r well. Stay safe.
I just happened upon your site, and I am glad I did. It was a very informative clip. Now I understand flash drives. I feel comfortable enough to use them now. Thanks Dave
I’m glad you speak slow most of the others fly through it…. You’re just getting the first part and they’re already finished… thank you I’ll be looking for more of your help…
As a mature learner on computers and finding same very difficult I found this video excellent. You spoke slowly and illustrated the movements very clearly. I will certainly watch more of your video's. Glad to say I can use a Flash Drive Thanks very much.
Thanks for this video. I'm not a "high tech" person. I need very basic instructions like your video. I'm preparing to move data from my old computer to a new one. Your video is a big help!
Exactly what I needed. For some unknown reason I was holding down the right mouse button. It works so much better now. I will be coming to your channel often.
Thank you! Your explanation was excellent! My question is, can you download TH-cam videos to a flash drive? If so do you have a video that explains this?
Thanks for a great and easy to follow video meny I have looked at just lose me in a minute or so , keep safe in these difficult times kind regards Mike in Durham England .

Just found your GuruBrew2 video because I Googled the question: How do I transfer my CD music to a memory stick? Your video came up but couldn't help but see that they are outdated (2013 and 2014). Somebody else's video came up showing how to transfer a movie. Problem: His video had a very distracting TV on within view of his tutorial video, and he had his computer monitor on a very wide angle away from the camera. The viewer was not able to read the small print, especially the drop down menus. He was also indecisive and used his hands to talk passing them back and forth in front of the monitor. What a crap show!!!! I noticed that you have EXCELLENT teaching skills. Logical and clear verbal instructions. The yellow high lighting re cursor position that accompanies the verbal instruction is very helpful also. Thank you !l
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your very clear voice, detailed explanations and easy pacing. As others said here, we older people appreciate this a whole lot. I used to use flash drives in the past and this was a great reminder to me. But I wonder if you made a video explaining how to transfer pics from Android to a PC? When I try it with the charger cable that came with the phone, it says not connected or something to that effect. If you made one with or without a cable, where can I see it? Thanks again!
So appreciate your common sense instructions - keep up the great work, not everyone speaks tech language and I am excited to 'correct' all the flash drive attempts I have made and do it right. :-)
Steve I really like your presentations and you have a good attitude. You seem so calm. Great job. Love you teaching skills. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it
Your autoplay is turned off, either completely or just for USB drives. You can either turn on Autoplay or open file explorer and navigate to your removable drive.
I also hear tones when I insert and unplug the flash drive but nothing pops up in File Explorer to show that my computer 'sees' the thumbdrive. I checked settings in Windows 10 to see that AutoPlay is on. So I'm still stuck and can't retrieve photos via the thumb drive. Thank you for your help!
To hear the tones is normal, BUT BEFORE you pull it back out Please find out how to do it with the special icon down on the lower right tray you click on to have it be safe to pull it out without any possible loss of info or damage, some people do it anyway but its a good thing after you get used to it. Here is the video by this same guy th-cam.com/video/s9qFkhSEwdw/w-d-xo.html
@@bluebethley The best way I corrected mine when I had the same issue was through the Control Panel. I switched the notifications for all inputs to "Show Notification". It notifies you when you plug or unplug any device. Thank you.
In all my searching I have not found one person that was easier to understand than this gentleman. Thank you.
Thank you so much for making it simple. So many of us older people just don't know a lot of the basics, and it's nice to have someone to explain it in detail.
You do a better job of explaining than 99.9% of all the others. The others almost always go way too fast. Thank you so much!!!!
I thought the same thing

Awesome tutorial for transferring "Pitchers" from your computer to a USB flash Drive.
Thanks so much! I'm not very computer savvy and this really helped me and two other girls in the office. You have become my personal computer guru!!!
This was the best I have seen.
I am now hooked to your site. Never had this explained so easily before in a "non-stressed" way.
Thanks so much - you are a great teacher. Most take too much for granted from us begninners
Thank you for taking your time to show us, one of the things we should know, if we work on computers
Very good! You were slow enough so that my old brain could absorb the information. Thank you
Years after everyone below, I greatly appreciate this video. I'll now look for more.
I love your slow, easy going style...Thanks, Vernon...You rock!
I can appreciate your slow, direct approach. Easy to follow and learn. Thanks.

nice I transferred my music files to the flash drive, can I just plug the flash drive into my car's usb port and play the music in my car?
Yes, if the usb port is part of your entertainment system. If the usb port is only meant to charge your cell phone, then no.
I have a USB port in my car radio and add whatever music I like, it's a really handy thing.
what a simple way to teach an 80+ years person.I am glad n thanks. Iam sure will be needing your advice for my Photo Stick.
This was so well explained, right pace, everything. We need more videos like yours. Thanks a lot.
yep, I was quite comfortable listening to this.
Excellent presentation and thank you for explaining this process so clearly. I am 80 and will use this a lot!

Just found your GuruBrew2 video because I Googled the question: How do I transfer my CD music to a memory stick? Your video came up but couldn't help but see that they are outdated (2013 and 2014).
