I’ll admit, I love pizza. I love to have a slice or two once in a while but I’m not so addicted to pizza that I wanna eat it 3 times a day or seven days a week.
At the root this isn’t about pizza, but it’s about Josh’s sense of self-worth and the enormous value of his life. There are other ways people form various addictions that destroy their lives too. I hope and pray he’s continued to find his way forward with improved nutrition but also and especially with the love and continued support of his family and friends who care about him. Love how they say "no school, no career, Josh had no life". I hope you all realize food addiction or not that school nor a career should define your "life".
They weren’t implying that school or career define your life. They were just giving examples of things most people participate in, where as Josh was not doing those very normal things, and likely wasn’t doing much of anything then either. With no school or work, how would he even have money to “live life” and do other things? It’s was just a general statement, not a declaration of life-defining characteristics
I ate some pizza every day for about a year and a half. I’m diabetic, weight about 135, and work in manual labor with an active lifestyle. I would grab a slice of ny style (thin crust for people who don’t know) made with fresh ingredients every day on my way home from work. It was my pre-dinner snack. I couldn’t imagine having to exist on only pizza. I live in north east Pennsylvania and have great and diverse pizza choices but man can not live on pizza alone.
Crazy how you only weigh 135 even though you're diabetic. Too much pizza can make you gain weight very fast. Pizza is a greasy food and greasy foods can lead to a lot of heart issues. I wouldn't reccomend eating pizza everyday for a year if you are diabetic.
I felt so bad for him in the last “test” or whatever. I couldn’t imagine if someone forced me to get a food I didn’t like then someone next to me ordered my favorite food.
why do they they show everything in year's measure. If you are shown the amount of water you drink in a year that will be size of a pond(thats going to look scary too)

He can easily replace refined floor Pizza base from whole wheat pizza base or quinoa pizza base. And put a lots of vegetables and reduced cheese amounts on pizza. By doing this he would not face health consequences as well as quit pizza due to compromise in taste. 😌
When you start watching this and litteraly like a minute in you crave pizza more than life itself, to then realize someone made the frozen pizza you bought for yourself the day prior 😭
I mean, if we lived in a world where health issues never existed, I would eat pizza every day too. I could eat pizza every day, it's one of my favorite foods.

Do you mean josh or the specialists? Bc pizza can be pretty cheap but the specialists for sure just ordered empty pizza boxes lol
Probably it is just boxes
I assumed he was a millionaire. That was my first thought. Where I live, a large pizza is $30.
This was the greatest pizza ad on youtube, I'm gonna head down to my local pizzeria, those guys are awesome
Lol
I understand addictions do weird things to the brain, but it baffles me how he can eat the same thing 24/7 and not even consider the possibility of that having to do with his mysterious illness
I’m a recovering addict and alcoholic and can confirm that denial is insanely powerful. It nearly killed me.
Denial denial denial
I’ll admit, I love pizza. I love to have a slice or two once in a while but I’m not so addicted to pizza that I wanna eat it 3 times a day or seven days a week.
@VinceSM That’s how I am with Doritos, I can’t just have one or two dorito chips, I’m either eating half or the whole bag. And I mean the big bag
Same
I love pizza!
Live long and prosper, Josh!
Shut up bozo
No I’m pretty sure this is about pizza.
This looks like a 90's SNL sketch 😂😂
Whose mouths started watering while watching him biting out of the pizza🤤
Whose. Who's is WHO IS. What we learned in eighth grade.

@@n0t.al3x142 My eighth grade English teacher pointed it out.
If he's throwing up every single day, it could probably be concluded that something isn't good.
He is one of the few freaky eater patients who didn’t gross me out.
I know!
the US version is definitely more nausea inducing than the UK version
This episode changed my life.
I am now pizza addicted.
in all seriousness, i developed lactose intolerance when i turned 30 & had similar mysterious symptoms until i found out that dairy was making me very ill. i've been a non-junk-food vegan for three years, and although i miss the comfort of certain foods... it's so rad not feeling or looking like garbage anymore.
I went vegan too with lactose intolerance, I felt a lot better without dairy. I’m a vegan junkfood eater tho, i still eat a lot of unhealthy stuff, but luckily I’m not having many problems anymore.
What does rad mean?
I’m lactose intolerant too but I take lactose pills often cause even though I cut out milk, I can’t resist a good ice cream or cheesecake , or cheese 🤤 but yea dairy is a surprisingly easy thing to remove from your diet without too much difficulty, there’s so many dairy alternatives out there now. There’s even a lactose free option for most dairy products now a days
Wich symptoms?
@@SilverCharmbracelet amazing, incredible
Josh's parents look like the guy who was addicted to cheeseburgers
Ikr
They are all actors, no one is actually related
It's all staged.
@@cristhianramirez6939 Usually I would agree with these kinds of shows, but since I am related to the family I can say, well it’s not staged.😂
That’s what I thought too the cheeseburger guy. It’s all here in Southern California so who knows. He looks more like his uncle or even Dr Dow than TV Dad.
Josh is probably the most relatable person in this series.
He’s lovely, and Mysti is too!
He has such a loving family
Josh *Eating 10 pizzas everyday* : has clear skin, skinny body and great hair
Me *smells fries* : face falls, crazy hair and my body turns itself into a balloon
Ha! Same! he also has great teeth
Atleast he wanted to do something ab it unlike the others that is like
“oH nO i’m NeVeR gOnNa ChAnGe”
Love how they say "no school, no career, Josh had no life". I hope you all realize food addiction or not that school nor a career should define your "life".
And you are beautiful for saying that
They weren’t implying that school or career define your life. They were just giving examples of things most people participate in, where as Josh was not doing those very normal things, and likely wasn’t doing much of anything then either. With no school or work, how would he even have money to “live life” and do other things?
It’s was just a general statement, not a declaration of life-defining characteristics
It’s not what you got, but what you give .
Bro had the best childhood ever and then lost everything, I can’t imagine that.
The mom: You have to be a two-sport athlete
Also the mom: Yeah you can eat pizza exclusively, I don't see a problem with that
Also why does he have so much money to buy food at 4th grade?

If I ate like this every day, I would have to move in a wheelchair
I don’t get how he’s still got the money
Same bro if I eat pizza for 2days
I would gain 2 or 3 kg for sure
Some people are just lucky like this guy
@@emanuelbreezy7423 We have high metabolisms 😏 though I eat healthy and take vitamins so I can become a better b-ball player and get taller

I felt so bad for him in the last “test” or whatever. I couldn’t imagine if someone forced me to get a food I didn’t like then someone next to me ordered my favorite food.
why do they they show everything in year's measure. If you are shown the amount of water you drink in a year that will be size of a pond(thats going to look scary too)
I can't imagine only eating pizza for the rest of my life,
I'm surprised this man has survived this long on nothing but, cheese, bread, tomato sauce, pepperoni and things.
stuff like that.
Poor Josh, he doesn't realize that the foods we eat have a great impact on how we feel, our health. I'm glad he was able to get help 👍🙏🙏
He can easily replace refined floor Pizza base from whole wheat pizza base or quinoa pizza base. And put a lots of vegetables and reduced cheese amounts on pizza. By doing this he would not face health consequences as well as quit pizza due to compromise in taste. 😌
Such a great advice,. By this way he would still be able to have vegetables and will have more healthy life, while still having pizzas. Great 🎉
When you start watching this and litteraly like a minute in you crave pizza more than life itself, to then realize someone made the frozen pizza you bought for yourself the day prior 😭
This takes "if you could eat one food forever" to a new level
I mean, if we lived in a world where health issues never existed, I would eat pizza every day too. I could eat pizza every day, it's one of my favorite foods.
Bless this young man. He’s not hurting anyone. He looks great. Let him eat pizza
The grandmas so sweet, and I honest don't know what to think of him saying just "I don't want it." If your grandma asks you to eat something, you EAT it. You eat all of it.
I wonder if this kind of thing happens in other countries. I think this mostly an American thing.
My late grandmas were both great cooks and I ate everything they prepared. Or nearly everything.
@@pauljordan4452 Yea! Its the polite thing to do.
@@PeepersT I think so too. I really like some other countries approaches to this.

This is the saddest freaky eater episode 😭 so sad to see where he once was and where he is now, Josh definitely needed help I’m glad he got it :))
His uncle looked more concerned and proud for him than his parents.
Am I blind or was the same video posted a couple of years ago?
Hmmmm
I think so

Yes it was same as the cornstarch video
I'm blind to don't worry
Yeah this is a repost lol
Yes they just want more views
I worked at pizza places for god knows how long before and even AFTER graduating college. Yet this man actually made me crave a slice…
Did you meet Josh?
I hope Josh is doing well and doing something he loves. This is one of my favorite "freaky eater" episodes I've seen.
Same. The pizza looks so good.
Well, he loves eating pizza . . .
FREAKING DOMINOS AD WHILE IM WATCHING THIS
I like pizza, I could eat it 24-7, but my mom says no that I cannot. Also my mom is right about it.
I watches this episode everytime before I eat my pizza for extra tastiness
I love pizza, but I can't imagine actually eating that much!!!
Sssame
I think maybe that is what heaven is like?
Me neither. I guess my pizza addiction is more like a craving because I only eat it like once every two weeks.
Back home, me and my twin can eat a pizza a day for lunch, easy - sometimes, if we're eating different kinds of pizza (he likes chorizo, I can't stand it), he'll eat a mini pizza and I'll eat a smaller veggie pizza
Just watching this video gives me heartburn
You can make other types of pizzas with veggies and w.e else. Maybe he eats too much of the same pizza
For example cauliflower crust it doesn’t change the taste of the crust and it’s a much healthier than regular crust
I make my own crust and divide it in two, then I roll it out big so it’s really thin, so it’s half the crust and it’s like a nice crunchy cracker crust. Lots of veggies too.
@@penniewyatt9391 dang that sounds pretty good it’s like a ultra thin crust
Yeah cauliflower crust with toasted tomatoes , bell peppers, onions with some fresh mozzarella
