I have had my lanber M/C for over 30 years and shot hundreds of cartridges through it on clays and out rough shooting, it's a brilliant gun .

My first gun in about 1978/79 as a Lanber Competition Sporter, 28inch barrels and 1/4 and 1/2 choke. Great value for money gun and I wish I had it now.

Andy Smith. I bought a Sporter 30 in multichoke new. I put about 250 rounds through it every week for about 18 months. No problems at all. Nice to shoot, handled well and for the Price good Quality. Look after it well and it will always do the job.

My first gun was a Lanber Field Hunter. I've still got it 15 years on and i wouldn't swap it for anything. I use it on Game, and Clays and its absolutely epic

My first gun back in the mid eighties was a brand new lanber field in multichoke- with the nurled end external type chokes- i was at a local clay shoot & on a stand i loaded & on closing the gun it discharged!!- after that i changed it under warranty for a laurona o/u game- with no further problems- But yes they were quite popular back in the day!

Had my lanber sporter from new, over 30 years ago, just recently had new spring in safety catch replaced, along with ejectors, brought me great joy over the years

I love my Lanber Field that I bought from you over 10 years ago. It’s never let me down and as it was my first gun, it will stay with me.

Bought a Lanber Sporter multi choke as my first gun about 20 years ago and I still have it in my collection. Will never sell it as I found it a very easy gun to shoot.

Absolutely love my Lanber Sporter, it was my first gun getting into shooting two years ago, and for the price (i paid £400) i don't think there are any better options out there. Exceptional value for money shooting experience.

I’ve had two. A non ejector field gun and a sporter. Still have the sporter. Outstanding value for the money IMHO.

I have just bought a 2009 field gun from Holts that had had a bit of a rough life, but after a clean up I have to say that it is one of the nicest guns I have shot. Much better than the Miroku, Browning 525, and 725 I had previously.

When I first got into clays I used my friends Lanber Sporter and loved it, I got a Lanber game gun later on and used it for a while until I upgraded to a Browning. I totally agree with you, they are a great starter gun. Thanks for the video 👍🏼👍🏼🤩🤩

Comment from the U.S.. I purchased a NIB Lanber field gun a few years ago very inexpensively. I knew Lanber had gone out of business, but I thought if it lasted five years or so I would have gotten my money's worth. Glad to hear they have a good reputation for longevity. Maybe I can pick up a used sporter somewhere.

I remember my Dad trialling a Lanber back in the 80’s, brought into the UK by the then Gunmark brand now better known as GMK. It was a beaters gun he was selling, It went wrong almost immediately, double discharging etc, he went on to try a Franchi Falconet deluxe, a Lincoln number 2, but finally settled on a Miroku 3700, Dad never kept a gun long, being a keeper they led a hard life, ended up back with a side by side.

Bought a Lamberts sporter in old coin finish and shot well with it. Later on I was at a shoot without my Browning Ultra XS and tried shooting with Blazer and EELL Beretta. Shot really badly until I used a Lamber Sporter and rescued the last three stands.

I've just bought a Lanber as my first gun. I picked up loads of different types picked up a lanber and it just felt right. Waiting for my license to come in so I can finally pick it up.

I bought a Lander for my first gun back in 2009. Although I have upgraded I would not part with the Lanber.
It's a great gun for the money £750 new back then. It feels unbreakable and gives you great confidence in its ability.
Love the videos all a must watch. Loved the 410 video think I'll get one. 👍👍

My sons literally just literally bought a sporting deluxe an hour ago, was just looking around a local gun room and saw it, lovely condition, still tight, looks barely used....£250...... No extra chokes but the ones in the gun aren't seized either........ Didn't go looking for a gun but was to good to miss

I have a turkish made gun blatantly manufactured to the lanber design, shoots lovely and being turkish has great furniture of course. For anyone interested it was marketed in the uk as a "pointer 612" or "612s". Wish i knew more about it as who ever made it did a remarkable job for a gun that retailed at 500quid

  • @JasonBarnhart

Just picked one up for $300(£250) in the US. Much nicer than the new Stoeger on the rack next to it at about 30% less cost. I’ll be hanging on to it.

I have to disagree, just inspected one recently, was worn out. Had signs of old repairs, replaced parts etc. Soft metal action, not built to last. Barrels were only thing in ok condition.
